    OpenSource Remote for VESC ArduBoardControl

I wrote my own arduino-nrf24 code , without a display. I'm not so happy with it and need to clean it up some, but will share. Also need to look at your code, maybe it can run on my hardware. Mostly looking for insight in making the throttle behave non-linear and maybe have some fake...

    UniverSal Truck Mount difficulty?

Alright, bruno mailed me back. He says the CNC-ing has a mistake, the truck clamp is 28mm on one side and 30mm on the other. Which won't fit. New parts will have to be made, 3 weeks delay on taking my board out ;( Asking permission to mod what i have now ..

    UniverSal Truck Mount difficulty?

Heya, I just received Bruno's production of the ADS UST motormount, but i'm having a hard time figuring out how its supposed to fit .. bigger version on http://i.imgur.com/Llx7YEb.jpg as you can see, the curve of the left part (half of the truck clamp) doesn't fit the curve of the clamp...

Open Source Arduino transmitter/receiver for (V)ESC

You could identify the proper pins to solder to with a Ohmmeter

    Watt meter connected to E-skateboard.

Oh yeah, that is a lot more than expected! I wasn't so lucky with trying out SLA's..

    Watt meter connected to E-skateboard.

FYI on SLA , you get less than original capacity if you discharge above ~0.1C, which i guess you are doing?

    3mm HTD vs 5mm HTD

Open Source Arduino transmitter/receiver for (V)ESC

Alright, just borrowed two NRF24L01's from a buddy :) Wondering if i'll go the 'lets gut a nunchuck' route, or make something from scratch. For the receiver, i will be using a 5v pro mini, 3.3v regulator for the NRF, powerboost500 of adafruit as powersource / boost convertor, and a single...

    Speedometer? Brakes?

But i agree that a electronic/mechanic brake controlled from the remote would be a LOT nicer :/ Hmmz ... I also saw some people putting those clamp style brakes from a bike, inverted from the inside of the truck, so the brakepads point outside. Could be a interesting method. And i could just 3d...

    Speedometer? Brakes?

That first brake product i listed seems like it could work well. My front rightwheel is powered, my stance is goofy, so i might be tempted to add such a braking system to the rear right wheel.

    Speedometer? Brakes?

    Speedometer? Brakes?

I've been thinking about how nice it would be, to have mechanical brakes (also for some certification, i might need better brakes then the ESC can give me) Did anyone ever add that to a skateboard wheel? If so, how? Also, speedometer would be nice to have. Was thinking of trying a tachograph...
