ixxat USB-to-CAN compact & Sevcon DLD flashing

Doc, have you guys had any updates on this condition of cuting out 1/3 down the strip? We had a similar issue with a sevcon, but our would sometimes cut 2/3 of the way down.

Zero Motorcycle Upgrade Package - Drilled motor + Size 6

When I was racing my S in '13 we added a size 6 and quickly ran into heating issues. We drilled the end plates in a way that sounds very similar to how you describe. It made a big difference. I tested out an oil cooling method and that made an even bigger difference. Would be interesting to see...

Using 4 Milwaukee 9ah (162wh) Batteries to power Ebike?

You can buy the clips with the wires coming out from Milwaukee. I forget the part number, but I have bought several of them way back in the day. I think they call them test clips or something like that.

    Electric Chipper Shredder

Actually, that looks a lot like the motor on my old air compressor that has a blown metal air line that I stopped using. I have an old 5hp gas chipper that doesn't work, picked it up for free. I think I might try to merge the two of those together...

    Electric Chipper Shredder

This is the biggest electric chipper I could find for sale. It is 1.5hp, but they claim it can do the same sized limbs as the 4 hp gas model. http://www.patriot-products-inc.com/products.htm?gclid=CIOCxf-AnrcCFStp7AodMmsA3g#eleccsv They also went with a AC 120v.

    Electric Chipper Shredder

5 hp is the standard gas size for home use, so I was going with that.

    Electric Chipper Shredder

Ok, not really sure exactly where to put this, so I'm putting it in here. I'm looking to turn a gas chipper shredder to an electric. I was thinking of using one of my extra DC motors. But then I had a thought that they have some that run off 120, so I was wondering if I could use a 5 hp AC...

End of the World. Beginning of a new one. The Life of Amberwolf.

AW, I am just now seeing this thread. I honestly could finish reading the first post. I am so sorry for your loss, I know how much you loved those dogs. Kinda seemed like they were part of the ES family to me from reading hour posts about them through the years. There is absolutely nothing that...

    YZF600R Thundercat EV

Yeah, Jozzer is definitely a great resource for this community and a stand up guy. That sucks about the connectors being the wrong size.

Apparently the post that my comment above was referring to was removed. So now my comment looks out of place. Ha ha.

    Kawasaki KX125 Electric Build

Cool video. I shared it with a few of my Hawaii buddies on Facebook. Yeah, I still haven't seen Jeff's truck yet, but I will post up info on it as soon as I get a chance to visit and take pics and videos.

    YZF600R Thundercat EV

Well, I used a different chassis. But here is my build thread. http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=38221 It started off with a totally different design idea, and then ended up becoming closer to your build.

    YZF600R Thundercat EV

Looks very similar to one of my builds. Unfortunately I used a sevcon controller and the company I bought it from couldn't program it correctly. Regret not going with a Kelly.

    Group ride in Orlando, FL

Shoot. I'm focusing on E motorcycles at the moment. But I suppose I could throw a bike back together for a ride. I just need to do some batteries and hook up a controller I think. Been waiting on an order of large heat shrink to do some headway packs, but it is long over due.

    YZF600R Thundercat EV

Yeah, Steve (Jozzer) is a real good guy. Both of them are members here on this forum. You can search out some of their stuff by their user name in the author part of the search function.

    YZF600R Thundercat EV

We've had a few brilliant builds come our way from the UK. Looking forward to what you come up with. You should try to meet up with Jeremy Harris and Jozzer to see what they have come up with. Two really great guys.

    YZF600R Thundercat EV

Sounds like a cool build. Where are you located? We didn't really call them Thundercats too much in the US. For those who are not familiar, this is the ZYF600R. This bike was the upgrade from the FZR and led to the R6. How far along are you on your build? Post some pics, we are looking forward...

    EIG battery issue

Yes, these are the 20ah foil pouch cells. I will separate it from the rest of the pack and try to recharge it. If it holds a charge, I might try to use it for some small projects by itself, but don't think it is worth it to keep it mixed in with the other cells. I think 21s should be a pretty...

    EIG battery issue

Yes, I run it without a BMS....while sitting on a shelf.  I guess I was real tired last night when I posted this, it isn't a 24s pack, it is a 22s pack. I don't know how 24 got in my head. So it looks like I will be running it as a 21s pack.

    EIG battery issue

I guess I'll be running this as a 23s pack now.

    EIG battery issue

This morning I went out and checked the pack. The bottom cell was no longer puffy, kind of shriveled up. And every cell was balanced at 3.60v except the top 3, which were at 3.61 and the bottom damaged cell, which was at 2.65.
