Liquid screen protector to waterproof adaptto display?

What do you think about using a liquid screen protector to waterproof the adaptto screen as much as possible? And perhaps the controller too? I like the idea but not sure if it will work. Any thoughts? Video: https://youtu.be/PJ6zyXl9Q1k Website: (there are different kinds but here's one)...

Rear wheel not centered, is that a problem?

Frame is FUTR Alpha, wheel is QS 205 in 19" rim with Shinko tyre. My wheel isn't centered in the swingarm for some reason. I asked someone and he said it was probably fine as long as the wheel isn't actually angled. What say you? Is there something that can be done or is it fine?

Did I do something wrong? Motor locks up when tighten boots

Hello, I have a 19" MC wheel with a QS205 motor. I just switched out the freewheel from one that looks like this one: To the Shimano one here: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mobile/se/en/shimano-single-speed-freewheel/rp-prod7805 But now, when I tighten the bolts, it locks...

Can I seal the battery compartment?

In order to make my E-bike (FUTR Alpha frame, Qs motor) waterproof I was thinking of sealing the battery compartment. But then I thought maybe that's not a good idea? After all there is this thing called condensation. My plan was to first seal the two holes in the back of the frame where the...

How to mount Rockshox Kage RC rear shock??

Ok so, I'm not sure how to install my Rockshox Kage RC properly. I have this mounting hardware but the center piece doesn't go through the eyelet of the shock, not without force anyways. Am I supposed to press it through? And is it supposed to look like this one when I'm done but with...

The most comfortable saddle you've ever owned?

So I'm getting sick of the uncomfortable MTB saddles that pains my arse and was wondering if any of you have had the same issues and managed to find your dream seat? I'm thinking something gel but the selection is absolutely insane. There's just so much to choose from! So what is the...

    Suspension, what should I get?

I've been looking at the popular DNM suspension and see that there's two different versions of the USD-8 fork, one air and one coil version. Wich one would you recommend I use on a powerful build this isn't going to be very light? Also the rear suspension. I'm most likely getting the rear shock...

FUTR Alpha or Qulbix 76 frame?

Can someone tell me some pros/cons or just wich frame is better? If price wasn't important just the best frame. For a QS v3 motor capable of at least 10kw power, so a powerful build. A big difference is the location of the pedals. Frame for Qulbix and swingarm for Alpha

    Qulbix Q76R turnkey bike anyone?

Anyone have any thoughts and opinions about this bike? It looks good, was recommended to me and seems to be using the same motor as the Vector Typhoon bike. A big difference from the Vector (apart from the obvious frame) Is the controller. Qulbix uses a Sabvoton SVMC072150 and Vector uses...

Where can I get such a battery?

I'm looking for a battery pack to support the AFT 48V 1680W mid drive kit. AFT says it should be able to handle 60 amps peak and 40 amps continuous. (Or else they can limit peak power hence amps to suit other batteries in the kelly controlller) I got the advice of "high discharge rate"...

Now I just need a battery, point me in the right direction?

If I have a AFT 48V 1680W Emax mid drive kit (http://www.aft-ebike.com) then all I need is a battery right? But what should I get? All I want is for the battery pack to be waterproof, or as close as possible. It will be mounted on my mountainbike, either in the frame or on the back. But I am not...

    Anyone tried Wing electric bikes?

Hi there! I'm looking for an e bike that looks like a normal bicycle but still has enough power for some fun. I found this place: http://wing-ebikes.co.uk Anyone have thoughts/opinions? Can this motor be replaaced?

Can this motor be replaaced with a better one? One that is brushless and perhaps more powerful? http://www.funbikes.co.uk/Velocifero_Scooter_48_Volt_1600_Watt_Motor(5499).aspx The motor sits in One of these...

    Fully waterproof an E bike

Is it possible? I just cannot look at an e bike as a serious transportation device if it cannot withstand rainy days and (hopefully) Winter days. Putting silicon on all exposed electronics would be step 1 but what about all the rest such as battery, adaptto etc? Or is it a lost cause and I...

    Vector any good?

Looking at the Typhoon V2.0, is it worth the money? Can you wheelie it easy? http://vectorebike.com/bikes/typhoon-v2-0-10000-watt.html Or should I go for a "Made by Allex" Flux freeride? http://envolt.se/products.html I don't know much about these things so building one is not a good Idea, I...
