    Btw i never use schematics. I follow traces start from power supplying cables and check everything for blown parts. If not look for transistors or converters beacuse they rearly have visual symtoms.

    When program is uploded to arduino and nothing is connected or D2 connected to ground, it still output itself 3v on pin D11. I check it while its connected by usb to laptop and on bike.

    You haven't received even one rfid? One is for driving and one for settings changing. I dont think you can make it start from controller. Display is having 5 speed mode, is able to turn on off pas, throttle etc. From what i remember from display come out 2 wires for data. Thats all. Easier way...

    How about double mosfets on vesc plus add cooling to have more amps? Gate driver is more about applying volts not amp if i am correct. How about then use any simple 12 mosfets controller. Double its mosfets and use its driver to power them. Can see idea here...

    Probably because high phase current adjusted. Throttle voltage should build up slowly. I will update you when i am done with arduino board. I am currently working on it. I am also planing to make hidden switch like you or use arduino bluetooth board and control remotely from phone app.

    Problem with 555 timer is it can be triggered only by voltage below 1/3 of supply voltage and PAS is giving higher spikes. Maybe can be done by NPN transistor that will switch ground. Not sure if it will work because PAS have standby voltage 0.4v or 0.7 (don't quite remember correct).

    I would check with mulimeter phazes of motor how many Ohms. All should be equal. Try turning while measure. Check hall: Connect 5v to red and Gnd to black in hall connector.     Check if you have 5v on pin on picture near r17 resistor. You chave to check next pin. Connect controller and battery so you can read voltage

    I had also problem with this display and here is solution to fix it. You have to open display and find lm5576 which is step down converter from 12v to 5v. It was broken(didn't output 5v) You need to supply in 2,3,4pin (they are all together) 5v. Best is to by from ebay separate 12v to 5v...

    I am waiting for parts to come. I am going to use the same 4110 mosfets as original in this controller. Heatsink on bottom will be 9mm flat aluminum plate (i will look if i can find something ticker) and it will be in contact with ebike frame for better cooling. Maybe i will ad fan i will see...
