    so i opened the controller to see any damage. both the new and the old controller looked like this.that must be the 5V resistor thats blown on the right. Any idea what might have caused that problem? will soldering a new resistance solve the problem?

    indeed weird. There is another capacitor in the further right of the image a smaller one than those 2 on the left that is actually noted as 63V if that says anything.. the smaller ones in the middle have a marking of 25V.
