    Error 30 Help!

so i opened the controller to see any damage. both the new and the old controller looked like this.that must be the 5V resistor thats blown on the right. Any idea what might have caused that problem? will soldering a new resistance solve the problem?

    Error 30 Help!

Long story short. I have got a hailong battery cradle controller from eggbikes.co.uk. to replace the old similar controller that was giving me an error 30 message. the bike on the stand worked fine, PAS reacted and started the motor, throttle worked also . As soon as i got on the bike the PAS...

    25mph new build.

thanks for the reply, I care about PAS mainly. throttle is OK if it exists i wont say no, but I wont use it, my mentality here is that if i have to use throttle i might as well take the train. The target is to commute and exercise. Both. exercise is part of why i do this but the commute has to...

    25mph new build.

Hi to all. I have a frame, a steel Surly LHT that i would like to turn into an electric build. I am looking for a hub motor that can achieve 35-40 km/h. I have only one limitation, I would like it to be 36V. The reason is that I have 2 36V batteries (12 and 15AH with panasonic 18650PF cells)...

MXUS 250w how to increase the speed

Yeps I got that, problem is that the whole controller is on the bottom of the battery cradle and whoever made this setup had a very realistic problem of ensuring a waterproof environment. So they literally covered the whole thing in some kind of trasnparent silicone. It is in the middle of a...

MXUS 250w how to increase the speed

the motor goes up to 29,8 kmh on full throttle, measured by 2 different tachometers. it is active and working on PAS until the bike reaches 43kmh if you change the lcd settings to maximum pas speed and pedal on the stand. My battery, is a 15ah down tube one with Panasonic 18650PF cells. Cheap...

MXUS 250w how to increase the speed

indeed weird. There is another capacitor in the further right of the image a smaller one than those 2 on the left that is actually noted as 63V if that says anything.. the smaller ones in the middle have a marking of 25V.

MXUS 250w how to increase the speed

Sounds easy, my controller is in the battery mount not in the motor, so I will leave the motor itself in ☮️. I will open the battery cradle and post photos, just to know what I have and what are the options. But to be honest I'm a bit confused. The posts from pedelecs.co.uk say that it can be...

MXUS 250w how to increase the speed

Hmm you got me there. Yes I posted to gather info/opinions. Ebikers are much more sustainable to environment, so why not? As soon as you have a moped license you can push your ebike to 45kph but no that's way toouch for me. I still want to ride a bicycle...thanks for the guidance everyone!

MXUS 250w how to increase the speed

Hi everyone, I commute to work every day a distance of 35km ( one direction). A flat thing where you can easily maintain a speed of 30-35 kmh. For this purpose I purchased from a MXUS xf08 250w hub motor, with a 15mah bat 36v and an integrated lishui HL 1260 18A controller which lives in the...

135mm hub motor on 130mm frame

measuring the distance of the seatstays and chainstays to the rim will tell if one side of the bike was stretched more than the other and will show if the wheel sits centered. since the dropouts are moved outwards hopefully by the same distance, 2,5mm each, they cannot be parallel, provided they...

135mm hub motor on 130mm frame

it did have a rear wheel yes, its a 130mm the one it came with, but i am pretty sure it is not the original one since i bought the bike second hand. I assumed that since the bike had 7 gears it would be 135mm dropouts. such a fail. I bet that since it is a genesis vapour (uk cx frame) it would...

135mm hub motor on 130mm frame

thats exactly my thought. I was thinking of taking out the nut from the non drive side (it is there to give space for disc brakes also which i dont have) and replace it with some plain spacers. Or grind the nut by 3mm to make it thinner..

135mm hub motor on 130mm frame

Hi everyone, so here's the thing. I have ended up with a problem i did everything to avoid, but my memory failed me miserably. i bought an mxus 135mm rear hub motor 250watts to fit on a frame i bought like and used as a city bike (130mm rear dropouts, 6061 triple butted aluminium). Before i...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I have seen that many of you have actual experience with TSDZ2 Tongsheng mid drive. in my adventure to convert my first bike to ebike someone suggested that for my racing bike with dropbars and hydraulic brakes and the 25 miles one way trip i want to do daily this is an ideal motor. Any...
