KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

Does this firmware show higher wattage numbers than the stock one with my LCD3? It tops out at 1999W although I'm using a lot more.

Which controller and battery for new bafang g311?

Absolutely, they use brand cells and not the generic Chinese 18650. These cells can provide a higher C rate and hold up to their specs pretty well. So the entire battery pack will be much more capable.

Which controller and battery for new bafang g311?

EM3EV batteries are a lot better than your typical Ali batteries but they're also more expensive. When you're tight on a bugdget, I'd suggest you go for the 2.6Ah cells listed on the Ali item because they will most likely perform way better than the 3.4Ah ones. Chinese cells have a pretty low C...

    Stolen DH Comp in Boston

That really sucks, sorry! Could you link the used lock? Just wanna know what I'll avoid. I'm using a ABUS Bordo X Granit Plus 6500 in the rear and a noname folding lock in the front currently. That someone steals my bike is my biggest fear because it's the only way I'm getting to work so I'm...

    MXUS 3k noname Cover Plates

This vendor from Germany is using a DM 18 rim, although with 12g spokes. Any experience with that? https://shop.linergy.de/de/mxus-3k-turbo-3000w-hinterradmotor-in-26-felge.html Getting it laced into a good rim for a reasonable price is pretty hard, both of the vendors you've linked are outside...

    MXUS 3k noname Cover Plates

Yes I was talking about motors in rims. I've found two vendors for 299 but that's just the motor. I was thinking there was a vendor who's selling a 3K in a rim for 299.

    MXUS 3k noname Cover Plates

Where have you found it for 299? All Vendors I can find offer it starting from 399.

Where to buy cheap Li-pol batteries instead of Multistar?

You need to spend 150$ and shipping is free. I've bought the 6S 20Ah Turningy from the International Warehouse to Germany. Shipping was free but had to pay 45€ taxes afterwards. BUT they're completely sold out at the moment so you have to wait.

I've just got an answer from them, either they didn't understand me or they don't know it lol.

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

Thanks to both of you, really appreciated. :thumb: Do you know what the normal ratio is on a stock controller? Or is it different on each one? I really want to know how much phase current my stock 60V 45A KT controller has.

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

Figured I ask here because I guess the developers of this firmware knows this best. Does the standard KT controllers come with a higher Phase Amps than Battery Amps? e.g. 45A from the Battery but 70A goes to the motor?

Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

I'd just test the controller before returning it, maybe you've got lucky.

    what do i need ? a better controller ?

Your battery is the limiting factor, not your controller. With that little 11.6Ah battery you can't draw 35A without a heavy voltage sag. That's the reason why you're getting slow speed. Get a better battery with either better cells or better capacity, both would be the best.

kWeld - "Next level" DIY battery spot welder

I'm not talking about the lifetime, I'm talking about how long one charge lasts.

The photos on the first post. All gone.

kWeld - "Next level" DIY battery spot welder

I'll get the kWeld then. Any information about how long the linked 3S 5Ah LiPo battery life is? I don't wanna pause mid build because the LiPo is dead.

Queen Battery QB18650 3000mAh - real high capacity at low price

Why do you never mention the prices? That's really the only argument for these cells so we'll need prices.

kWeld - "Next level" DIY battery spot welder

It's not about the price, the Sunkko is even more expensive than the kWeld. I just want something decent for under 200€. Why is the Sunkko no real spot welder? I wasn't talking about the cheap 788H which is only like 130€. I'm talking about the 709A for 220€. (220v version)

kWeld - "Next level" DIY battery spot welder

Did anybody tested the kWeld against a Sunkko 709A? I'm looking forward to buying a spotwelder and like the possibility of the Sunkko devices to just run them off a socket. No need for a LiPo battery and just plug&play, comes with a soldering iron too. The prices are about the same for the...

LEAFBIKE dead after 24 hrs HELP!

If you're talking about the voltage display, a charged 48V battery will be about 54V. So unless you're talking about some hidden information it's a 48V battery, not a 52V one (charged voltage of about 58V).

    TSDZ2 amps range

They're all the same, just the software is programmed different. You can get the 250W version, flash the opensource firmware and "convert" it to a 750W version.

[SAMSUNG 40T] Explanation needed on charge and discharge

This just indicates that this is the perfect temperature where you'll get the most out of your battery. Every cell is affected by temperature while charging and discharging. Of course you can discharge them at 50°C but they'll sag more.

[EV CELLS] Where to buy high capacity cells?

The 40T seems pretty nice even though I haven't built a battery with them yet. 35A at 4Ah is just great for a round cell. I'd suggest HobbyKing because they're pretty cheap and got all sorts of voltages and capacities. I've bought 3x 6s 20000mah Multistar LiPos from them...
