    Hi. Had the same problem with the maxus 5k motor on my frame. I also had to space out the rotor by 2 or 3mm to from the motor so that the caliper doesn't rub on motor when centered on disk. Might be worth checking that before you do anything with the wire. I also countersunk the rotor screw...

    I think that frame is maybe different to what shortcircuit911 and myself have? I think that one is the quilbix style clone frame? If what I have googled is right. I'm sure there are some builds of that frame on here somewhere? Might get a bit more info from those. Like I said the motor width...

    Looks cool. Can you not direct mount the bars then to top of forks and not have a stem/starnut? Hope you get around the heat issues on controller then,most of what you read on hear is problems with motors overheating? Need to get on with mine and post some pics on here.🙂🙂

    Ps if it is an EEB frame then its probably better quality than ours!!😀 Certainly more expensive than ours and lighter to!! So don't be worrying that's it's a cheap one or that you have made a big mistake. :thumb:

    Hi Dung. That's different then?? Looks like a better job than the rubber bushing we had in ours. Are you sure its the same frame as we have? If yours is an EEB frame then I'm thinking it may be different? The frame we have is all steel with steel side panels,does yours have plastic side panels...

    That's good then if yours can still get bearings in with the sleeve still in. Mine was out to the edges of frame If I can remember and I don't think the bearings would of gone in if I had left it in? :thumb:

    Extending battery cable with crimps, avoid?

    Hi, those crimps should be fine. I tend to strip back the outer twice along as you need and then twist and fold wire back on itself,making the inner wire twice as thick if that makes sense? If the hole in the crimp will allow that of course? Also use a good quality ratchet style crimping tool...
