    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

Let me explain better the issue, in cofig menu "Display/Clock field" I chose to set "batt volts" instead of "clock" but after display restart it reverts the setting back to default value which is again the "clock" My temperature sensor on v1.0.0 was giving correct values, wonder if anyone...

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

I've been desperatly waiting for the fusion of the best from all FW forks and it is here 20.1C ! :thumb: I could catch only few minor issues in 850C release: - Clock field settings is not persistent after restart, when I set Battery Voltage after restart the Time field is preset - Seems that...

I am trying to flash engine with TSDZ2-v20.1C-860C.hex (https://github.com/emmebrusa/TSDZ2-Smart-EBike-860C/releases/tag/v20.1C-860C) and when trying to open the file withSTVP I get error " FILE line 7: not in Intel HEX format!" (no such issue with the TSDZ2-v20.1C-LCD3.hex)

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Well I am still bigger fan of the previous implementation of eMTB (based on torque) where I could just set coefficient and make the logarithmic curve less or more exponential. It was simple and effective.

Ok understood just last thing I wanna better understand is why the Cruise mode is removed from the current release ?

Indeed throttle and cruise are different concepts but both work to achieve the same goal to make or to keep ebike running without pedaling. In a fact in real life (including car driving) 80% of time the throttle is used to maintain constant speed - cruise. Cruise in previous releases: pedal to...

Great to have the Torque mode back ! :bigthumb: But in Beta1 seems there is zero threshold for the Torque sensor and the motor starts pulling just with a very soft touch on the pedal or even without touching it just by chaining the pedal position. It would be great to have adjustable...

Have just replaced KT-LCD3(v20) with 850C(Alpha 4) and have to say with the field awakening it is another league. Many thanks to Casainho and all other contributors. :bigthumb: But let me also say that Power Assist based on Cadence and Torque is not for me the best option for the MTB trails...

It is working for me with these drivers for w10: https://www.silabs.com/products/development-tools/software/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers You might have to force windows to update drivers manually (via Control Panel>System>Devices) by selecting the driver path..

Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

:thumb: thanks for the EN translation ! However it is not clear how to activate Walk Assist or Cruise mode on VLCD5.. there is just recommendation to check original manual of the display but there isn't such thing..

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

To me it is obvious that KT-LCD3 fork has ended with mature release 0.20 beta1 and I can understand the reasons why Casainho ended support for LCD3 but I am also little skeptical about the maturity level of the new releases like 0.51 which are only based on v0.19. There are too many...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

No problem this is my final well working set up using "step up buck" instead of ebike buttery as power source.. The colors should match with bafang display cable bafang extension cable - I recommend male to male (one end for bootloader box other for connecting display with TSDZ2)...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I must admit I was wrong and when I checked all the cables I found broken Rx line. After fixing it I was able to re-flash the display again. So there is nothing wrong with 0.4.2 it will not brick UART functionality on 850C display. You can flash the display with UART multiple times.. I...

hi I had the same whitescreen issue with 850C_v0.4.0 but it has been already fixed in 850C_v0.4.1: "change code in the hope to solve the issue of white screen on some 850C displays. Seems some of them have different LCDs inside." https://github.com/OpenSource-EBike-firmware/Color_LCD/releases

I have just flashed 850C_v0.4.2-bootloader.bin with home made bootloader box successfully and display turns on however the vertical screen flip is still present. Also seems that I cannot flash it anymore as the display is not reacting to flashing signals from USBUART module as before. Is...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

let me share the diagram the colors should match any bafang display cable. And few more hints I had to remove the AC power supply from the laptop and had to use only DC supply (ebike battery) to power the 850C, otherwise the flashing was interrupted. Not clear why obviously Rydon made it with...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Beta1 I found backward resistance that kicks in when moving bike faster backwards. At low speed there is no any resistance. Also had feeling that motor stops much quicker than on alfa UPDATE: today did another ride without any backward resistance.. this could be very uniq case or upcoming HW...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

absolutely I could see some packets are being sent from 850C with the white screen on because the Rx led flashes at high rate on the USBtoUART adapter which indicates the incoming UART traffic. To my biggest surprise the motor control as well works just fine and I am able to change the assist...
