Can the Enviolo hub be used with TSDZ2?

I have two Enviolo powered recumbent trikes. On both I tap the 48v battery into a voltage regulator that outputs 24 volts. That voltage is what feeds the electronic shifting devices attached to the Enviolo IGH. Trike 1 - Nuvinci N380 with an electronic twist/grip shifter wired to the hub...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Could someone point me to the download of the original 860c firmware for a bafang motor? I want to experiment with a BBS02 instead of my TSDZ2b. Thanks

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

I am running this version of the OSF software: TSDZ2-v20.1C.4-860C.hex April 11, 2022 release, and have noticed something a bit odd. When I have the 'Torque Sensor / Calibration / Enabled', pedaling produces an uneven power output. I can see my current use going up and down with each pedal...

best Bafang Mid Drive option for off-road trike? No human power input

I have an ICE Adventure trike, BBSHD, Enviolo Cargo Hub IGH, off road tires all around. This IS my 'off road' trike. The BBSHD works great in this configuration, plenty of power, never overheats. I have a TSDZ2 on another trike that is my 'street trike', and that motor works fine there, but it...

BBS-FW: Open Source Firmware for BBSHD/BBS02 Controller

I probably missed this but asking: is there a way to backup our current BBSHD firmware before updating to this great new project? I've got my BBSHD running nicely now, but I'm always curious about 'newer / better' :). Thanks

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

Thank you! >>After entering the “Pedal torque ADC offset” and “Pedal torque ADC max” values, the calibration must always be enabled. I will leave Calibration 'enabled' after entering these values. Street Mode - ok, let me go look there. I didn't even set those things up. When I power on the...

Bafang BBSHD and Nuvinci N380 cvt combo-anyone else using this?

Recumbentrx , I am installing virtually the same setup on my ICE Adventure trike (BBSHD & Nuvinci N380). Do you have the Gear sensor installed? I really came to like the Nuvinci N380, I installed one on my ICE Spint trike late last year and have put a bunch of miles on it. It has a TSDZ2...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

ADC values between right and left were very close. I ride a recumbent trike, so pedal pressure (weight) is fairly low. No standing on the pedals.

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

When starting up the TSDZ2, configuration has you specify that the Right or Left pedal be 'down'. My question is: What is the result (or symptoms) if you do not put the specified pedal down at startup? I have calibrated the torque sensor and specified Right pedal down. But I cannot detect...

BBSHD Voltage Problem Firmware Update & Instructions

BBSHD Voltage Problem Firmware Update & Instructions

I successfully flashed my BBSHD firmware today with the instructions on page 1. The only change was that I had to set the max baud rate to 38400. At 57 it just hung and did nothing. Lowering that value worked fine.

    >>In firmware version 1.0.0 is Boost actually enabled when "disabled" in settings? This appears to be the case from my own testing. In OSF 1.0 , when 'Boost' is enabled (the setting value is actually 'disabled'), my startup increases the motor current quite a bit, like up to 12 amps or more...

Hi Jeff.page.rides I tried a few of the settings you suggested, to help with starting from a dead stop. Here is what I found. 1. New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I am not understanding the graph display on my 860c (version 1.0 & OSF 1.0) . The temperature sensor is installed and has been tested to be accurate. What do the large numbers at the top and bottom of the scale represent? They do not seem to have a relationship to the actual temperature value...
