    I'm not really looking to use a lot of power. I already have a 48v battery, and see no point in paying the premium for a 48v motor if all I have to do is reprogram it.

    Yes, a 36v TSDZ2b can do 48v. You'd need to reprogram it either by hacking the original firmware or installing the OSF version. The motors are however wound different so you'll have a higher cadence rather than more torgue. I ran my TSZD2b for years like that specifically for that reason...

    Hi, I'm about to purchase a BBS02 to build into my Strada velomobile. In the past I have had a TSZD2B, and while I liked it, the cadence limit was always an issue. Does Bafang use different controllers in the 36 volt versions or is it just programming? IE, if I buy a 36 volt one, will it let...
