Perhaps already posted, but found it interesting, and looks feasible as a business, when batteries become regulated. Describes a battery designed for repair and reclamation of cells.

Yes, interesting business model. I recall seeing a press release from them a year ago.
From the video, it's hard to see what kind of cell contact is on the PCBs. Hopefully some kind of spring. Doesn't look like pogo pins.
Maybe some kind of leaf spring contact, hopefully with some dielectric grease. Very curious about long term durability. Legal ebike packs really only need to do 5 amps per cell peak, so it seems feasible that a spring contact could do that without putting too much force on the end of the cell.
