Thanks for posting that, Flathill.

I am not sure that Stuxnet was responsible for the drone attack. It just doesn't sit well that the same people that looked to instructions posted on an antivirus website to solve a major security issue could have detected such a sophisticated virus in the first place. Although I suppose the people who discovered it could have been different from the ones trying to fix it.

To be honest the whole military operation looks very amateurish. Like something badly designed by teenagers with little experience.

China's pledge is very interesting. The problem of course is that Israel is governed by lunatics that make the Islamists seem sane.

OK. Do your homework on this one. Then check back and let us know if you still believe that. The code is out there, you can review it yourself if you wish....

Oh !,..i dont doubt "The code" is out there .. or something that appears to be such, what i doubt is that it was ever used effectively to do what is rumoured . :?

You doubt that it destroyed the centrifuges? :?

The creators of the virus shut it down when Symantec published their discovery online after the virus had already destroyed over 1,000 centrifuges. The virus was scheduled to stop working on the 24th of June, 2012 - they didn't plan on it being discovered in 2010. That was an accident when a computer mysteriously kept rebooting was passed on to experts who in turn passed it on to more expert, experts - something the Iranians would never have the capabilities to unearth.

It also had several highly encrypted files that as of yet have never been decrypted - so its full potential is unknown. This is all accepted as being true.

People using this virus probably would have it modified and would use different exploits to gain entry to systems - it would be very hard to detect. But that is just speculation and who really knows - the rest is true and accepted fact.

.... :?: " accepted as being true" ??? ...is not the same as verified or proven.
Its a popular belief, encouraged and probably perpetrated by those with something to gain from that kind of scare.
Its equally likely that the Iranians simply had a crap ( or sabotaged ?) batch of centrifuges , or are piss poor at operating them !

Hey, this is JMHO, you can believe what you like, but in these days of Internet media, its hard to separate facts from fiction , speculation and extrapolation. :?
