OK, who else had one? My first Li chemistry battery was, a 48v LiFePo4 12Ah. I carried it in a nylon Ammo container. Worked for my purpose but gravitated towards cased Hailong style batteries and now have integral ones for my eMtb.
Putting my road bike back together I had a scheme to put a wrapped battery in a top tube bag as well as the controller. Got a base runner ordered and speced a 52v 21700 cell battery that fit my bag that turned out to be 20Ah.
A very noticeable difference in how batteries are wrapped today! The plastic film used as well as the thin rigid material underneath makes a pretty solid feeling shell. I was able to spec the power/charge plugs as well. I test fit it in the bag and it fits like a glove so very happy with that. Now I just have to get the rest of it together.
