Limit Bafang BBSHD to 250W with switch

I know it's easy to program the Bafang with the config tool in 9 different levels. You could have 1 of these levels comply to the EU rules of 250W and 25 kmh.

However, would it be possible to create a physical switch on the bike that would override these 9-level program and just limit the Bafang BBSHD to 250W no matter what level is chosen?

This would enable legal riding on public roads while having full power during off-road or private grounds riding.

That's the closest I've seen to a "legal mode" switch dude. I imagine for the police to take you seriously you'd have to have the switch off the bike otherwise what's to stop you switching it on the fly?! I figure just ride sensibly, don't take the piss and you'll probably slip under the radar :wink:
