Looks like a lyen 12fet.. 4110 FETs was typical on these which have an absolute max voltage limit of 100v and 40A continuous current rating for the controller.

I bought a 1996ish Pro-Flex Animal bike w the TC80 rear hub attached and a throttle that came w the hub and the Lyen controller screwed to the frame. The guy was building it w his dad who passed away and he wanted nothing to do w it after that. The hub is new and has been hooked up yet. No paperwork or info on how to setup the controller. Can I just hook up any battery or do I need a specific voltage? I'm not aware what voltage the throttle is? I got a great deal and jumped on it and now I'm finding out what that saved $$ translates too 🤦 again any and all help is greatly appreciated. He actually just sent the receipt from GRIN so I believe it's real now!

What voltage do u guys recommend I run this at? Is the Lyen a good controller to pair to this hub or no? I appreciate any and all advice

I have never worked with them, but I hear the support is pretty good...

I will say it certainly looks beastly in yellow!

Best of contacting line lyen and get the lowdown from him it might take a little bit because he's probably doing a lot of other things.
The way I understand the programming to work you open it up on your computer and you select what you want the controller to do you do not get a chance to see what the controller set up you can only flash your new settings from how I understand it. Plus you had to order the controller with a programming plug and then buy the programming harness with button.
