I bought the 13T freewheel from the Cyclone site to replace the stock 14T freewheel.

Parts listed here:
http://www.cyclone-tw.com/order-parts.htm

I removed the 14T freewheel successfully. However, the aluminum collar on the 13T freewheel is very loose on the motor shaft when I put it on. Also, the key easily slips in and out between the aluminum freewheel collar the motor shaft. The original 14T freewheel fits very tight on the motor shaft. With the 13T freewheel being this loose, the grub screw is not enough to hold it on, and the 13T freewheel will surely fly off the motor shaft.

I also noticed that the aluminum collar of the 13T freewheel sticks out much more than the 14T one.

Can anyone advice on how to properly install the 13T freewheel?

I saw this thread:

, which makes it seem like I should have no issues installing the freewheel.

Thanks!

Try removing the aluminium collar from the 14T and fitting it to the 13T. The procedure was in the link you posted.
