Hi,

More models than a few years ago with much lower prices. A couple of years ago they were working on sensored start-up, transitioning to unsensored, not sure if the current models handle start-up and sensored motors.
EDIT: added blog posts from 2009 below.

These might be a good choice for people without the expertise to build a Lebowski Controller?:

23.11.2009:
The target set for this year with respect to the sensor SLS is reached: the software could with the new hardware a motor first turns to limit speed (iM still without load, but in sensorless mode) elicit! Finished, however, the new SW / HW is far, we have you still some (!) Teach subtleties ...
As a sensor, we will first take a AS5040 support. This intelligent Hall sensor generates an "A-quad-B + index" signal represents the absolute angular position even at a SPI interface zV This is important for the correct determination of the initial position, the engine has not yet brought about the index position as long as is! With a resolution of 1024 positions per mechanical revolution he would be good also suitable for high-pole motors. The "drawback" of the matter: the sensor would actually already be integrated mechanically and adjusted by the engine manufacturer in the engine ...

17/10/2009:
The development of sensor-SLS Making Progress: the revised hardware with even more powerful DSP core has arrived. The next step is to transfer and firmware upgrade. We have since set out to do something, because the new hardware is designed to support the sensorless mode as before and allow additional also to operate with position sensors. Then full torque could already be produced with the engine. If we our "normal work" leaves enough time, the first prototype could be ready by early 2010.
Other activities towards higher currents (SLS-60-300) we first postponed. We'll see but well prepared: The prototype of the SLS-60-300 is in progress already and a correspondingly dimensioned engine (Cuba-II) has been tested already at moderate power. Further testing at higher power could always be carried out as soon as time and good weather permit. The top priority at the moment, however, the development of sensor-SLS ..
Compact models:

"CSL's ... probably the smallest sine-regulator in the world!"
If it is small, light and yet must be "sine", you are well supplied with the CSL:

eg CSL-60-70

- Motor current to 70Aac
- Fully sealed with screw down cooling plate
- Input ELKOs 900μF/100V/105 ° C (up 1.700μF possible)
- Only about 77mm x 42mm x 36mm
- Only 170g (incl. 20cm silicone cable)
from EUR 549, - (EUR 461.35 plus VAT) delivery time on request

eg CSL-42-75
- Battery voltage of 16Vdc to 42Vdc (10S LiPo)
- Motor current to 75Aac
- Fully sealed with screw down cooling plate
- Input ELKOs 2.000μF/50V/105 ° C (up 3.700μF possible)
- Only about 77mm x 42mm x 30mm
- Only 170g (incl. 20cm silicone cable)
Price + Shipping time on request (special edition)
Larger models:

03.03.2013:
For our large SLS, we now offer an appropriate water heatsink on. Available with quick connectors suitable for PA hose with 6mm or 8mm outer diameter. Also for the compact CSLS we will soon be able to offer appropriate.
21/03/2013:
The water cooling has passed its first test with flying colors!, As in the trace data to identify well below the temperature of the MOSFETs rose to only 42 ° C at a motor current of 150Aac. Next, we'll think about it, whether we miss the Constant also a water cooling because it. Approximately 100sec for too high temperature in Stromabregelung went (he was, however, also through the preliminary tests a bit heated through ...)
The coil should therefore be suitable to 300Aac (with additional built into the frame fans sure all still for a little more) without further action. Our goal ... to reach 400Aac now seems closer than ever! :)[/quote
19.01.2012:
The SLS family has offspring! There are ... triplets! They can run ... and even all three! ;)

Introducing (from left to right):
CSL-24-75 ... VDC_max = 24V, Iac_max = 75A (rms), 9x470μF/25V/ZLH, Overall dimensions: 77 x 54 x28mm
CSL-42-75 ... VDC_max = 42V, Iac_max = 75A (rms), 9x220μF/50V/ZLH, Overall dimensions: 77 x 54 x30mm
CSL-60-70 ... VDC_max = 60V, Iac_max = 70A (rms), 9x100μF/100V/ZLH, Overall dimensions: 77 x 54 x36mm

18/08/2011:
The end of May has visited us Geron Löbbe and left us two of his smaller engines to measure here. This is an extremely interesting design of a coreless external rotor, wherein the stator of a resin-impregnated copper winding is. The very low inductance such ironless motors in conjunction with a relatively high inertia is the challenge for the regulator. Use to find these motors in a wind power project. Larger motors (see picture) builds Lord Löbbe been successfully applied to several solar vehicles of the University of Bochum ...
