Re: Car replacement E-bike that fits me
I know how life can be. 4 back surgeries, 1 fusion. 1 stroke and surgery on my lung . Haha. Last couple years been "ok" . I have only ridden one reverse trike. Been putting together full suss ebikes, then got a fat bike. Himiway Cruiser. Big cloud 9 seats and raised bars on all.

Re: Car replacement E-bike that fits me
I wonder if the handling improved after moving the battery between your legs. Did you ever put the 5t motor on. I am with you though. 30 mph is plenty.

Re: Power wheel - switch and or relay?
"only need one relay, if it is a DPDT (remember the single DPDT switch controls everything by itself). Then you only need an SPST switch (that only has to handle the coil current) to turn the relay on for reverse, or leave it off for forward. Wire the relay the same way you'd wire the DPDT swit...

Re: Power wheel - switch and or relay?
I am going to Grainger today and pu a better switch. I figured I would need 4 relays since this switch powers 2 circuits at once. 2 for forward and 2 for reverse.
Pretty sure my lifepo should be fine this buggy has a 10 a circuit breaker already.

Power wheel - switch and or relay?
Hi all. Working on sprucing up a power wheel for the next grandbabies in line. It had lead acid now I am going to use a lifepo4 I have. I am going to fab a steel enclosure for it. The old setup use to melt the switches for fwd rev and hi low . I used the plastic 6 pin on-on switches it came with. I ...

Re: Need 36v batt. Recommended vendors please.
It is only 250 w so it won't take much to power. My other option is to get another 12v lifepo4 . I have 2 now. Then buy a bms and wire it. Which I have never done. I can get another for 45 dollars, maybe less. They are used and 20 ah.

Re: Need 36v batt. Recommended vendors please.
I liked the warranty and the US warehouse. But, no idea of what cells or bms used. Em3ev is great. I have 2 of their batteries. About double the price but worth it.. I am trying to get this old bike going on the cheap. Not easy or recommended way to go. Really seeing if someone has used Btrbattery..

Need 36v batt. Recommended vendors please.
I have been searching for a small 36 v batt for my iride bike. It is only rated 250w It shouldn't need a big battery.
Any reviews for BTRPower? Or other vendors you have used.

Re: IRide. 36v ?
Still tinkering when I have time. No battery yet. Rt side crank was loose. Has rt hand threads. Going to have to watch that. Discovered it has a cadence sensor. Figured why the front v brake would loosen when applied . The ferrule on the metal 90 degree tube would slip. Small crimp without pinching ...

If you could find a small dd . I love my dd regenerative. It is my only rear brakes. I only run 16 mph though. It will throw me forward a little. You may have traction issues though. Unless you can adjust it. Trailer brakes would be the bomb...

Re: IRide. 36v ?
I looked at the lifepo batts I picked up awhile ago. I don't have any lead batts around to test this. I really need to peak at the controller to see if it can handle 43 + volts. Actually they are sitting at 13.2 each. 39.6v .. hmmm.
Tests to come..

Re: IRide. 36v ?
This is true. It has a great spot for battery. The rear brake is solid. Not squishy like cheap brakes. Tires hold air too. Haven't had time to work on it yet..

The red box/enclosure on the ground has a 36v lead acid sticker on it. Looks like the controller is under the battery. I just got it so I have not tore Into anything yet. I need to look at the controller. 2014 production. . I would hope it is brushless...

Wondering if I should give it 36v lion or try to open the controller and check caps etc. Any one see one of these? Looks like Strokin llc terminated their llc in January..

Re: Searching for a spare/upgrade controller
I am wanting to go to a 52v battery on one of my old 9c dd hubs. And a bit more amps. Do you think one of the controllers you are using will work . I also would like to have a display maybe. The temp one I'm using now should do 52V, but it won't have a display; but the one I'm about to install only...
