Web Photo Gallery

Post by marty » Nov 06 2022 2:53pm

Many years ago I used to make a web photo gallery with Adobe Bridge. Save files in in my computer, then upload with FileZilla. Now it's not working. Click on link to see what happens.

Goes to a white page that says this:

This photo gallery requires the Adobe Flash Player. Get the free Flash Player here

Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer" on this server.

After some research.

Important Reminder: Flash Player’s end of life is December 31st, 2020
If its not working on my browser? Guessing it won't work on most everyone else's computer?

Used Adobe Bridge CS6 to make the Web Photo Gallery. Also have Adobe Bridge CC 2017 that version does not seem to have output for a web gallery.

Tried searching around for some free web photo gallery software.

I am not doing something wrong, or those programs don't do what I want them to. Can't seem to create proper files to upload.

I have a reseller account at GoDaddy. Was able to make this for free.

It works but I don't like it because pictures don't get big.

Here are the 12 pictures that I am trying to make into a web photo gallery. Size is big, 3984 x 2998 pixels. Will try uploading them here. Will that didn't work. Lets try 4 at a time.

OK here's the plan. Go over to the dining room table. That is where the old Windows XP computer is. Install Adobe CS5 Master Collection. Got DVDs in my collection of old programs.

Here are System requirements | Master Collection
https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/pol ... quirements

Follow instructions that web guy gave me.
If you have old Photoshop software you can make a hard coded html photo gallery.

First put the 12 photos in a folder, and make another folder too that will have the photo gallery images and pages.

Go to File pull down menu
Go to Automate, then go to
Web photo gallery

Then you select the folder with the photos as the source. And select the empty folder as the destination, and click OK.

Once it makes the gallery, you just put that folder online and it has an index.html page that will be the main page and link to the other pages.
Hope this works.

If anyone wants any Adobe programs? I like to share.
