The Future of Fast EScooters

Post by CND-1 » Oct 22 2022 10:55am

Just thinking...the Electric Scooter future

Some of these newer scooters have higher speeds and a large availability of lights. The day will come where the Municipality will see a cash grab for making certain types of escooters road worthy. Yes if it meets the minimum speed criteria(s) and the lighting requirements....etc. We may need a license and driver insurance just like a E-motorcycle.

That day is not too far off in the future with these newer high end faster scooters now available.

Luckily there are much higher priority issues for governments to deal with right now and they would likely go after the Sur Ron folks first. I've seen those ridden on sidewalks and bike paths here and nobody I've talked to has had any issues with police.

The new local ABC government is anti bike lane though...
