They were a sister team to Makani Kite and would share resources such as the laser, waterjet and CNC machines.
Makani has been shut down a couple years ago.

For a full automated wind powered boat ... although not a kite per se.

quite pricey for something that is limited in its usefulness, youre stuck with downwind only and for my boat i would need a minimum 10m to 20m kite

after looking at, how to kite board videos, i dont think it will be hard to just make a remote controlled kite.
found an 8m kiteboarding kit on craigslist for cheap so im heading off to buy it and see what it will do

wound up buying an 8 sqm diesel slingshot kite boarding kit for cheap off craigslist
from what i could see from one site i needed a minimum 10 sqm sail

rc wing commander gave me a quote according to my specs
they stated a 9 sqm kite kit would be the equivalent of a 20 kw electric motor
