Re: Axiom: a 100kW+ motor controller

But at the end of the day this is a top notch product! If the average enthusiast cannot justify the cost then what is the chance that when I come to buy one they are no longer available due to lower than expected sales? We don't have an expectation for sales numbers. We will grow this organically. ...

Re: Axiom: a 100kW+ motor controller

Out of interest, what are people expecting these to cost when ready? Well you can start with the cost of the parts and its going to be more then that. We are not talking about selling a kit or a control board. If I were to buy the two I need at the price suggested then it will cost over NZ$22,500 o...

Guys this has been a hard week for many, Jackson was one of the best people I knew and words can't describe this. He was always in good spirits when I got to see him, and always with a smile on his face. I have so much to thank Jackson for and its crazy he was 14 years younger than me teaching me so...

yahoo has a story. Canada is removing 5 bills from legal tender status, the $1, $2, $25, $500 and $1000 dollar bill. if you have them turn them in before its too late and theyre worthless. the 1,2,25 bills are more of a collector item but the person with the 500 and 1000 bill will probably get put ...

I would not use a Kelly controller for this. Their powerstages are designed like crap and very prone to failing because the MOSFETs don't share current well.

Re: Ampera/Volt inverter with Lebowski brain

Guys be careful with this. I read the last 2 posts and have a couple comments. 1 Most EV fuses are slow blow so take that into consideration 2 You should use a smart fuse (Tesla Pyro fuse) 3 The instant regen if you fault the controller is brief and you will be surprised how its a non issue. You can...

Tesla unsuccessfully sued British television show Top Gear for its 2008 review of the Tesla Roadster (2008) in which Jeremy Clarkson could be seen driving one around the Top Gear test track, complaining about a range of only 55 mi (89 km), before showing workers pushing it into the garage, supposed...

I think the Model 3 is a lot more fussy about charge adaptors than the S and X. Guy here in Perth has been struggling with his 3 on the Circontrol Trio chargers. About 50% success.
