Re: $25 No-Name 43.8V 10A charger

I really don't know what this charger was for. I thought it would be easy to trim the voltage down to 42.0V that I was looking for. I didn't see an easily accessible trim pot so I put it away. You may be able to figure it out though.

Re: $25 No-Name 43.8V 10A charger

It's close to 12S for LiPO.

43.8/3.7=11.84

It's close to 13S for LiFEPO4.
43.8/3.3=13.27

SOLD - $25 No-Name 43.8V 10A charger

SOLD! I have a new generic 43.8V 10A charger. It has a 3-foot XLR connector for output and a 3-foot grounded power cord. I googled the number on it without success. It's 8.5"x4.25"x2.5" overall. I opened it up to see if I could lower the output voltage but couldn't find any adjustmen...

Just to be clear, the Tidalforce S750 is not the folding version of the bike. It's a hardtail with a front suspension.

Re: New Battery Placement

Also, if you leave it on for a long time, it will be difficult to remove. The adhesive turns into a solid and unless you want to scrape it off, it can be challenging to get off. I've tried alcohol, acetone, Goof-Off water, etc. with no luck. It's still great stuff though.

The big red flag warning for me is the immediate charge to your credit card without any indication of when it would be shipped. WARNING, WARNING!

Re: How to set hall throttle to zero when closed

Hello. hall effect throttles usually give about 1-4 volts. Some motor controllers were programmed to start at closed throttle and with pot throttles it is 0 volts. I do not know of any way to reprogram the controller and wanted to replace a pot thumb throttle with a hall effect one. is there a simp...

After reading some of the reviews on Amazon for this unit, it looks like it has quality control issues as some users say it works to jump start cars and others that say it just dies.

Re: DIY spot-welder, FET-switched, processor-timed adj. puls

Has anyone used a Lipo based car jump starter battery as a power source? I know that they rate them as having 550A(!) peak current capability, however, it doesn't look nearly heavy duty enough. It's certainly more appealing than having a huge lead-acid battery sitting around. Thoughts? I'm thinking ...

I strongly recommend pulling a PR Utility XML 'out-of-box' file from your virgin unit as delivered before you tinker/autotune/etc so that you can restore the baseline settings if matters go awry. Can someone post that "out-of-box" XML file anyone is able? It would be very helpful, just in...

Everything that I had in my AE cart didn't drop dramatically in price. I think it was pretty much a marketing scam to make you think things were extraordinarily cheap when they weren't.

Re: Do Wheel Hub Batterys exist?

IIRC some MIT students made and planned to market a wheel that had motor/controller/battery in it, but the battery would have had to be small, and I always wondered about heat dissipation, but I don't remember seeing it come up for sale. The Copenhagen wheel has been vaporware for many years now. h...

The top speed I achieved is 42 mph. If the batteries were stronger, and not saggy, I could've reached 45-50 mph.

Do you have any way to monitor voltage during acceleration? Do you have a Cycle Analyst or a Wattmeter? I would suspect voltage sag during acceleration.
