Re: Vector e-bike Frame 599$ /Adaptto/Parts WORLDWIDE

Shorza just so you know the 135mm version barely fits the 28-30mm stamped steel DD hub motors they make in it with 1 small washer on each inner side, it is steel so some people would just bend it for 150mm, but I wouldn't be up for the task What motor are you using? I agree that fat bike swingarm is...

Re: Vector Light Commuter Build

Ya Dave I think I will have to put either more bowed out crank arms or a wider BB on the bike to make it not happen. Its just a shame because the front of the frame is nice and skinny and doesn't effect pedaling at all, but the rear tubing I think is somehow wider than it needs to be for 135mm hub f...

Re: Apollo 250 Dirt Bike Conversion

Got the 13t sprocket in the mail and so far it seems to have fixed most of my issues I was having. The chain is now drivable and is not nearly as sloppy, I can take off fine and get up to full speed fine with no random chain slap or noises I am still planning to use a tensioner but it is acceptable ...

Re: Kelly KLS7230 + LMX

Hmm that is interesting news! Could you go into a little more detail on how you go about doing this or add some pictures? Odd that your saying the kls series controllers are not putting out true sine wave?

Hopefully i can do what you did also

Re: Vector Light Commuter Build

this 20mph with auto regen is perfect for the freezing cold weather we are having right now, but again I just hopped onto the bike to take a trip to the store and the first thing I noticed was the inside of my feet rears hitting the lower portion of the swingarm when I pedal... It is starting to bot...

Re: Apollo 250 Dirt Bike Conversion

That controller is the 180a peak, the one I am using is the KSL7230 the 300a peak. I have one of the KSL7218 I can sell you for $150 shipped but you will also need a program cable so I suggest maybe you purchase from Kelly direct. Unless you can confirm from Alex at Eastgem that he has the proper ca...

I didnt see the BHT motor once in that video, but i also cannot understand the language either. The kv on the paper at the end could be the comparison. Speed seems very close not sure about torque Nm

Re: Apollo 250 Dirt Bike Conversion

Hey skeetab5780, I'm working on a KTM 50 conversion for my son. Going to go with the same setup as the v2 of your Apollo. Any chance you can help with the wiring were to get a similar battery. If you are using the KLS controllers they are very simple to wire, just hook up the 3 motor phases and the...

Re: Apollo 250 Dirt Bike Conversion

the 12t is too small for sure :( great build btw! and yes, let your brother do the welding - he knows the stuff. and let him teach you how to do it, it's not that difficult. just needs some pratice. one question: how do you like the multistars? my turnigy packs are 4 years old now, and i need spare...

Re: Apollo 250 Dirt Bike Conversion

So in plans to get this thing on the road I ground down as much of the metal I could to try to cram the 12t in, it is usable for now but it is still rubbing just a bit on the chain. The 13t will be in the mail for a few days...until then Ill have to wait https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/6tHFf8XSHiR...

Re: Sur-Ron Light Bee USA group buy

I just got an email saying that Luna cycles is where I need to buy the bike. Anyone else know anything about that? Could be good news as Luna does a great job. Just crossing my fingers that the price is still reasonable and hopefully even cheaper due to better shipping costs. Denzel's dirt bike is ...

Re: Kelly KLS7230 + LMX

No clue, that's over my head All I know is that if Adam from LMX stopped using the KLS series with these motors then it is more than likely the simplest way to happiness. The KBS series are the same price but it sucks buying a new controller for no reason I know If anyone else wants to chime in feel...

Re: Kelly KLS7230 + LMX

Ya I ran into this same problem, the motor and controller wont work together. Apparently the motor we have puts out a weak hall signal and the KLS series controllers cannot decode it properly. You will have to get the KBS series controller if you want to use that motor unfortunately. I have a KLS co...

Re: Vector Light Commuter Build

Well I just dropped my truck off for a oil change and rode the Vector light back to my work. One thing I did notice is now that my swingarm is in the correct position the inside back of my feet hit the lowers of the swingarm tubing while pedaling now if I am not careful. It wasn't as bad when the sh...

Re: Vector Light Commuter Build

Ya I thought about it, but there is plenty of air in the space and its only a 20a controller. I usually always have them exposed somehow. I am going to give it a try for now since it looks nice and neat.

That is a pretty good idea, but those cases are probably more $$ than the display!

I will just hack some ugly cover and glue the crap out of it! More my style :)
