Re: BMS Issues

I thought it could be polarity too, but I checked both the pack and charger with my meter and I had then correctly done. I wired it up as per BMSBattery wiring diagram, cba to get the diagram to show you at the moment, and the photos I took aren't so good. I'll get a charger with reverse-polarity pr...

Re: Most common failure since you have owned your ebike?

You missed out front end failure LOL

The forks on my bike have bent over 45 degrees. Absolutely f*cked it up.
It was only a basic mountain bike, no suspension.

But yeah, I'm going with rear hub motors from now on.

I am getting one of these motors soon. Should be great fun. I'm going to be doing this over the summer, a summer project. And I would be interested to know where I can source the right NEO magnets and which ones you used F&P, this would be great help? Do I go about rewinding it like it says here: ht...

Re: Keywin E-bike Lab Parameter Designer Software Manual-ver

I keep getting an error when I try programming my Lyen 12FET controller. All I want to do is get on and change the LVC. When I connect it like it says. It finds the port now and no yellow mark. I click transmit and it starts going, but when I hold down the button it says: "Run time error: 8020, Erro...

Re: GBS Batteries 40 Amp 16s1p

Thanks for the replies guys. Very helpful, I thought it was fine, but had read somewhere the prismatic cells had a higher voltage. But thanks for clearing this up. I've made the mounts for batteries and am happy with them, will be cycling them soon after painting frame etc.

GBS Batteries 40 Amp 16s1p

Ok, So my batteries arrived last week and they all seem balanced.
But are these batteries meant to settle at around 3.3-3.5 or are they meant to be at 3.6?
Charger seems to bring them up to 3.6 or so, then they go down to 3.4v

Just wondering, thanks!

Wow!

It is a funny vehicle. And probably not many were manufactured.

But.. 40k WOW

If it's in not too bad state, I'd clean it up and put it on Ebay, if it were me.
