Re: Is REGEN, really worth it ?

Lets say you have a 20 mile commute using regen in the best conditions for it to be used, what is the max voltage input 1 can expect back into the battery ? 5% - 10% max ? Are there any negative aspects to using regen , as far as wear and tear on the motor, magnets, controller, battery ? "Best cond...

Solar brushless DC Evaporative cooler.

So I have about 3 evaporative coolers, which work extremely well in our climate and I want to build a swamp cooler that runs on dc and ultimately powered with some solar panels. I have seen some plans on the internet, but most use brushed motors..

Re: Smallest battery suggestions for 6 mile ride and Bafang BBSHD

Buy batteries that you can get serviced. You cannot ship batteries, especially suspect or damaged ones, so there needs to be a service location you can get to if they need service. Or build them yourself so you can service them yourself. Exactly why I think tool pack batteries are great for startin...

Now we have a mystery of lost GW solar generation.... Wiki records Australia as having a total 7+ GW of solar generation installed..combined utility and rooftop. Every reporting authority i can find indicates the absolute MAXIMUM rooftop solar peak output at 4.0 GW .. http://anero.id/energy/rooftop...

Most Australians heat their homes with electricity? Here it's propane or natural gas. Natural gas is super cheap nowadays.[url][https://www.nmgco.com/Current_Natural_Gas_Rates.aspx/url] Gas was cheap here until the export marked exploded - now it's getting rather pricey. Natural gas producers would...

DIN standards is what I used when I worked on nuclear rockets and it could work for ev's too. Not a fan of government mostly, but standardization is cool if you want to progress. Hell I can't even buy batteries for my tools that are standardized...LOL https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_DIN_standa...
