These prisma cells never can take 30A discharge save!! This is realy a big joke, not save to use these old puffy cells! Cells are from Phylion e-bike batteries and are 4 til 7 years old. New they are 10Ah an can take 2C max discharge! Mostly afther 4 til 7 years they have 5 til 6 ah @ 5A discharge ...

Hi Grooter, how are things, greetings from London England. I bought 40 of your prismatics and they arrived yesterday to my doorstep, thanks. I am happy that I paid for and received the product. Just a few questions, I notice the prismatics are a bit puffy, I bought the 8000mAh to 9000mAh ones. Is th...

Re: Belt drive fat bike frames?

G'day people's I must be missing something here, but a belt being endless, how do you thread it around the chain stay? I saw a Mercedes branded commuter bike many years ago with a belt drive & a very clever CVT but I didn't pay attention as to how you got the bugger through the frame. AussieRider C...

Re: Smother Amy w/Ebiker Love (Lust optional...)

For me........it was just about a bit of fun initially but then I began to transfer over, so to speak, the reasons I had that originated with Ethanol and Bio Diesel. I am just tired of foreign Oil and all the BS. Once I got on an Ebike, and moved to London England, I began to see that the Ebike was ...

Re: Smother Amy w/Ebiker Love (Lust optional...)

My point is.........these HuffPost coastal Libs are supposed to be up to speed on all of this stuff. They are supposed to be driving these agenda, not suddenly realizing half-way thru that they know jack! For me, the eBike is all about not relying on the outdated infrastructure of public and private...

Good writing, WTURBER. It's ironic. The coastal elites, the Menlo Park crew, the Silicon Valley outfit, they always had as their biggest insult that the others..........."didn't get it". And yet, here we have somebody from the Huff Post, who basically.............doesn't get it. Won over? Won over? ...

Yeah. She would love to hear from us.

In other words, she would love to have somebody else essentially write her own article so she can pass it off as good investigative writing.

I personally would avoid her and her requests.

But that's just me.

Re: A123 18650 for sale

I think these cells have a capacity of around 900mah to 1100mah, depending on rate of D. I wouldn't pay much for them to be honest. The only reason I would have any interest in them is because I already have two large capacity 36v {12s} builds made from old 18650 cells which might need repairing ove...

Re: Best donor frame to build an electric bike & getting started

My motor never seems to get warm. Ok the last time I took it out there was snow on the road. But it didn't get warm after 4Ah up some good hills. What I worry about is the effect of 4000w, in bursts. But there is no heat yet. The frame was an off-ebay, steel frame. I welded on some torque arms with ...

Re: Best donor frame to build an electric bike & getting started

I have a 12t MAC running in a 24" wheel and on a 6 fet controller of 16s Lipo hitting peaks of 60Amps and it doesn't get warm and the controller gets tepid after some hard ripping. The TRP brakes are great. I have them. I have a steel frame and I welded on my own torque arms too. Even with my Mac in...

So that's around 62v 6 Fet Cellman Infineon, Sensored. There is no dragging on the brakes. The tyres a...

Re: 6pence Resistance Spot Welder

In order to keep the welder simple, the amps are adjusted by changing the amount of the battery amps. So would the CCA of the battery be a better indicator of "weld power" than Ah? Most of the car batteries I have seen don't even have Ah ratings. Car batteries provide more wallop for far less time,...
