Re: Wondering what it's all worth

Well, batteries tend to go down in value over time. Motors like the Crystalyte are now "Obsolete" but then again some people, like me, don't really feel that way, so there could be a chance that SOME people would be interested in buying them. Basically what you have listed is about 10 year...

Hi. How do you find those "DALY" BMS?

Easy enough to wire/good instructions?

Do they perform well at all?

Thanks.

Re: Razor e300 heritage scooter mod heavy.

Hi. I have seen a proliferation of these motors and they seem a good cheap way to get around from the "better" but a bit more complicated hub motors. Do you have any cheap/reliable source for 3 phase HIGH RPM motor-controllers? I can find the motors pretty hand- brushed and brushless-3-ph...

Re: Wiring A "Universal Handlebar Switch" Without A Wiring D

If it follows somewhat standard automotive the green would be for right turn signal, Yellow for left, Brown for running lights, white for ground. In industrial apps Blue is DC+. Often times you can get a partial ground if the white wire isn't properly grounded and current will try to back feed thou...

Re: Anyone used the 1500w ebay hub motor?

This has the leads coming inside the dropout. Pretty much the only reason I bought it instead of leaf. Well, Leaf 1500W motors are like that too. But they have a good reputation that they earned. https://leafbike.com/u_file/product/16_05_06/39dcf9ea01.jpg I got both. I think the reason I didn’t get...

Hi, great looking motor. Do you mind my asking how do you go about getting spokes for this motor and if you have any idea what size they are for 20", 24", 26" builds etc. Thanks. The seller linked in this thread sells them pre laced from 24 to 28". Cheers Tommm. :bigthumb:

Thanks for the Original TD thread-without it I'd never even have dared the repair. Specifically I'd l...

Re: rewinding hub motors.

Thanks guys. Lockdown being Lockdown I don't find hub motors so cheap. $400+

Over here a 4080 in a 20" rim sets you back £400stg.

Seems a shame to call it quits. It literally never once ran in anger.

So can anyone here tell me how to strip out and rewind the old Crystalyte X5304 motor?

Mine is shorted at the stator.

Just regards EM3EV I have been looking to get 1. Technical advice 2. Buy a new 12t Rear Mac .........sent them an email yesterday and have not heard back yet. So what's the low down with Kelly then? When did they acquire such a bad rep? They were pretty sui generis here for some time. You started off with the bog standard crap off ebay, then Ed Lyens monkeyed up Infineons, then a Kelly, then the Sabvotons.....

Hi. I need a controller for a cheap chinese motor, "KUNRAY", runs around 48v or more, 4800rpm.

It's a 3 phase BLDC with hall sensors.

Can you provide an option for my needs?

Thank you.

Low power to weight ratio on those babies. Probably not great efficiency. Of course they're cheap. with dimensions like that, they'd be my last choice, as you'd instantly get a weight imbalance no matter where/how you mounted the motor. I think mine came at 4,4KG which is 9.7lbs in "Old Money&...
