Re: 12v battery and charger for x-country trip

Would this charger work? At only 2amps it seems like the charging would be on the long side.

12v battery and charger for x-country trip

Hi everyone, I'm new to this Lipo and LiFePO4 stuff and could use a little help. I'm planning a crosscountry trip using a velomobile and would like a battery that can power my accessories. There will be times when I will not be able to recharge for 2-3 days and the charging source will be 120v. The ...

Re: Ping battery problem - need help

Make sure all of your BMS and other connections are tight. Give the battery a full charge then post the individual cell voltages.I had a similar problem with a split 48V20Ah pack and it was all the result of a bad BMS causing one cell to always be undercharged. It eventually caused the low voltage c...

Re: Stranded by ping again-again-AGAIN

I also have a Ping 48V20Ah split pack, which had a bad BMS from the start. I just soldered the wires onto my new BMS (from Ping) tonight. Ping sent an individual cell charger along with the BMS, and being a newbie to this, I'm wondering how to hook it up. Any help would be appreciated, thanks,

Re: BMS LED stays lit

I checked all connections mutiple times, everything is tight. Ping responded promptly and is sending me a new BMS as well as a single cell charger to balance the cells. Great customer service. Thanks to all who responded,

BMS LED stays lit

HELP. I have a Ping 48V20Ah LiFePO4,which I had split into two batteries by Ping so I could mount them on each side of my bike. The battery is about 4 months old. For the first 4-5 charges the 8th LED would not come on. Finally on the 6th charge it came on but has never gone off. It stays lit all of...

Re: Ebikes.ca Cycle Lumenator is Here

I don't think a temp cut-off would be good at 30mph, maybe it should just automatically dim down some.

I also am interested, but will be running 48V. How is the low voltage cutoff adjusted? Thanks.
