Re: 2x E-Max 110s 4Kw mopeds Silver and Black for sale on ebay

These are great scooters, I have the Vectrix VX-2 and they share the frame and most of the body panels, motor etc. mine only has the sevcon controller. They are a little bit bigger than the average scooter, great road handling, comfortable, original battery weighs a tat over 100 kilo's (48V 60Ah Lea...

Re: EU Road Legal Electrification (???)

Not want to discourage you in your attempt to license your transformed ICE motorcycle or scooter to electric ( which involves insurance, paperwork, VIN numbers, and possible Certificate of Conformity papers and EMC approval ) but I tried to get some info on this topic, digging deep and hard in Belgi...

Re: Is this legit? Greentime on Aliexpress

I was all in favour of Leo of Greentime controllers and chargers, up until recently when I ordered 3 chargers and two 18 FET 65 amp controllers from him, all 3 chargers where wired incorrectly, while the label said blue = minus and brown = plus.. guess what happens when I plugged in the battery........

Re: E-scooter Tisong with 3000W engine & Lyen controller SLO

I had the same problem with my e-scooter (Huasang/Cilent) it drove only 32-34 kmh on 16S LiFePO, the same voltage as you have, since then I upped the voltage to 84 Volt and now it goes well over 50 kmh. You are limited by your controller which is rated to 75 volt max ( better use 70 volt max ) so po...

Re: Gio PB710 60 volt controller where to buy?

Looks to me that your controller is a very basic 6 mosfet Chinese controller that one can buy for under 20 USD ( shipped ), If you want more performance go for a higher end 12 mosfet controller, even for a cheap one you could have 1000-1500 watts of potential power for 30-40 USD + shipping, both the...

Re: 24fet controller with torn wires - need help restoring t

Definitely not a Greentime controller, whole different layout, yours has white PCB vs. green one from Greentime.
Looks like it´s mangled pretty good, sorry can´t help you with the wiring on this one, soldering job looks iffy as well.

Mxus 3000 watt V2 4T for sale EU/UK *sold*

For sale due to a cancellation of an order in a mini group buy that I organised, a factory new Mxus 3000 V2 motor with 4 turns, would be great in an 24 or 26 inch wheel. It´s comes factory stock so not modified but I did buy some nice SKF bearings for it type 6003 2RSH which can be an direct replace...

hubmotor with 13 inch rim for sale. ( EU/UK )

I bought this item blind on an auction, but there was no proper discription nor decent photo's for this hubmotor, so I ended up with a 13 inch motor for my 10 inch wheeled scooter, and there is no way to fit this hubmotor on my scooter without doing some serious adjustments to the frame, it's a sham...

Re: Good idea to go ahead with this chinese electric scoote

There is no tax on " 45 kmh" scooters / mopeds as far as I know in Holland, only insurence which start around 80 euro / year and up ( for basic insurence ) FriendlyUK is right about the bulkiness of a scooter versus a lightweight and agile e-bike and going on bike lanes instead of right between busy...

Re: Good idea to go ahead with this chinese electric scoote

Hi Matthijs, If you gonna use it yourself, then buy it, I don't like riding noise either, I like the whisper-like moving of my scooter too instead of the rattling of a 2-stroke, I personally don't care very much about pollution, I think there is a economy hurting co2 ( pollution ) hype going on in W...

Re: Good idea to go ahead with this chinese electric scoote

Hi Matthijs, Not to discourage your effort in buying that scooter ( or 20 ), but you need to know some stuff from my personal experience before you go in head first........ The whole problem are the flat batteries of these scooters, the issue is that the public don't want to pay for new batteries, e...

Re: Greentime controllers

Thanks for the reply! I actually did some more research and hooked up a 3 speed switch the other day. I didn't get any extra current but it did help me achieve a higher top speed. If I lift the wheel up and go full throttle I can definitely hear the tire spin up faster each time I flip the switch, ...

I recently received my 15 fet 4410 45amp controller. I am only getting about 36 amps peak from the battery. Is this something that can be easily adjusted? Last time I checked you where very happy to tell me that you sold it, because you didn't want me to have it for some odd reason, as in a kind of "haha, in your face!!!" cocky kind of way even when I offered you your asking price, back then it was 100 dollar + 32 euro shipping and I offered you 111 e...

Hi Alastor
Sorry for misspelling your name....

I see that those things are extra $$$, I thought they where standard, my bad.
I seldom pay custom taxes here in Belgium, especially for these lower cost items, everything upwards of 200 euro gets risky to get caught.

Re: Lyen 12 fet sensorless blown EB312

Update: Lyen did his stuff, he replaced the cables and the shunt, so for 45 dollar including 2 X shipping and repair it's working again.

As far as I know nothing else was broken, no caps or mosfets, so although it smoked like hell and looked horrible, I got away lucky.

Hi Alistor,

Just to let you know, this controller is 79 dollar new from Lyen, shipping to Europe is never more than 20 dollars, so I think your controller sells a bit too expensive.

Re: How to build a individual 18650 battery pack, Example 12

Very nice pack, very well made, only one thing about those charge / discharge plugs ( red ones 4mm ) I use them too but they do get warm at 50 amp draw, I personally would upgrade them to 5.5 mm plugs or something heavier.

Hi Akke,

Since you are selling several clyte motors......
Do you happen to have a magnet ring only for this motor or a complete but broken motor that I can use to repair mine.
Shoot me a PM if you have something, it may be another 400-series motor too as long as it has the magnet ring.

Re: Lyen 12 fet sensorless blown EB312

Curious as I am, I tested the controller anyway, but first I had to clean up the the molten solder mess ( see photo 1 and 2 ), so I used a solder sucker to get rid of the excess solder that caused a short between source and drain of the " yellow" or 1th phase. Then I tested like dnmun asked, red pro...

Re: Lyen 12 fet sensorless blown EB312

Thanks for the explanation, so this is definitely beyond my knowledge of electronics, but question is: would it be totally unrepairable in the right hands, components would cost next to nothing but if all mosfets died too then it is really not very cost effective to repair it / let it repair It's a ...
