Bosch powered emtb custom frame

Wow it’s been 7 years from endless sphere and I’m back. Need some help to roll out a project I’ve been working on. We have designed a very interesting emtb frame with a kinematic engineer who Is completing his PhD in F1 racing suspension kinematics. Results are amazing and we’re ready to build a pro...

Re: Newly released Cyclone 3000Watt 48V Brushless motor

That cyclone link won't open for me :( After replacing the standard mounting kit of the cyclone with an e-go style plates mounting to the BB and chainguide the 1200w is phenomenal!!! We also opted for a lyen mark II controller with great success. This 3000w motor is going to be badass. Have they got...

Full Throttle, that is not a 83mm BB, that is a 100mm BB :D Ive machine up some spacers to throw the left hand crank out 30mm, going to be easy to land superman seat grabs with the wider crank stance :D and like I said this bike is all my scrap parts!! I have wired up the CC160 and my servo tester, ...

Alpha Friction Drive - DJ rig

Hi Lads and Ladies, I bought an Alpha kit from Adrian months and months ago and was going to set it up on my van moof, but the frame geometry was poor for the conversion, so I sold the bike and have built up this scrap bike using all my old gear to make a fun DJ shuttle 4X rig for kicks and giggles....

Re: RC Cargo Bike - reduction drive 95% complete pg8

My 8mm boring bar arriving so I have finished the adaptor from the 12mm shaft to the Dalton. Yes this Dalton is very rugged, pretty tight shadow conspiracy chain, hopefully some stretch will improve the setup. I know everyone uses grubb screws to fix sprockets to shafts but my bro (works for an engi...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v642/damonjackson_spl/28bb9f90.jpg I have machined out about 0.2mm from an old xtr 24t cassette id and it fits the Dalton beautifully. So my first reduction is finished: 6t - 24t Next is 6t to 22t Then 6t machined out to accept a one way bearing. Getting closer.

He was the only bidder on their $10k compact lathe that they have only used for polishing stainless. He won it for $730 and we ...

Re: Letting the cat out of the bag...........

Great sounding product but the most important aspect that seems to be missed is the price. Your volume could exponentially grow to massive production if you made a product better than cyclone but not as exxy as ecospeed or ego. Still seems like a boutique type drive, need something around $800-$1000...

I saw the gears the other day also!! I thought steel gears were what the e-go kits had upgraded in them? Are all cyclone gearheads got metal gears?

Or were e-go getting those gears hardened?

Well I used the castle link and checked the settings. All is well so upgraded the firmware and re installed on my bike and bam it all works!!! Even my old modded servo tester throttle. So just waiting fir a battery bag and I'll run the CB for a while while I fab up the cargo bike.
