Re: bbs02 - what size chainring for my commuter?

Hi Kim,

If you have pull the trigger 42 T is really a great choice this way you get more torque, less heat issues (like me) and may be a little loss in top speed overall I think is the better choice for a BBS02.

Re: bbs02 - what size chainring for my commuter?

Hi Kim, I own a BBS02 at 52 Volt with a 52 T Chainring, if you plan to use it with traffic a BBSHD is better in every way, in term of torque and power and probably speed too. Any hard tail bike without suspension at 30 Mph is not cool and not fun to use it just my opinion. I just bought a dual suspe...

Re: BBSHD purchase advice

Hi Zoumerela, If you have the correct tools to remove a crankset and a front derailler yes, otherwise your local bike shop can do it for you. Many video on you tube explain how to do the install it is very straight forward. For programming you need a USB cable for Bafang motor I found mine on Amazon...

Re: BBSHD purchase advice

Hi Zoumerela, Just check the BB (Bottom Bracket) to fit your bike in mm otherwise is just a plug and play ride. You need to remove the crankset and the front derailler. The BBSHD with the correct programming don't need an ASI Bac 800 controller but If you reprogram the BBSHD it ruin your warranty (i...

Re: Headlight for fast ebike any idea ?

The new USB charging standards have higher power capacity. 5V 2A is common so 10W is possible, and the newer USB systems can go to even higher voltage. New Samsung phones use 9V at 1.67A, for example with adaptive fast charging. Up to 18W is available with these Qualcomm standard based USB adaptive...

Headlight for fast ebike any idea ?

Hi Guys,

I currently have (4) magicshine 900 lumens on my ebike but the result of that beam didn't satisfy me, even if they are at the maximum. I like to know if someone here uses a motorcycle head light on his ebike with a low and high beam switch.

Thank you

Re: Moving from e-bicycle to moto. Help?

Hi Shift, Thank you since that I build this bike long ago… Correct for the voltage and the question you ask about Amps. Be sure to get 84 Volt at full charge (Maximum voltage) to protect the Agni 95R (Maximum RPM rating for this motor). Very important to use a 95 "R" at this voltage, I never set the...

Re: Moving from e-bicycle to moto. Help?

OK, old thread, but I am slowly working on this. Could you help me compile a solid setup? Again, goal is for an average 25-35 mph, max of 50 moto. To be used for city riding with some short, but slightly steep, half-mile hills and stop and go traffic. 50 mph would only be burst. 6 foot, 220lb rider...

JonBoy, Troubleshooting an ebike something can be a real headache I strongly recommend to buy this little tester, it test your hall sensor wires from both side (motor or controller) and you can do the same with the phase wires. Last summer I have a defective hall sensor on the motor later on a broke...

Re: The new MAKITA 5.0Ah pack using NCA

Call me crazy but I would prefer the BL1840 packs with the Sony cells. Man think about this, a Samsung battery pack, gives you about twice the range as you have for the same size and weight. With more power output (meaning less voltage sag) better life span then your battery pack made from Sony cel...
