Re: Eaton APR48-ES 2000w 96% efficiency power supply for sal
4 units are on the way to liveforphysics, 3 NEW units remaining. I will also have couple used units later, they would go at a discount price. Please remember, this is not your average Eaton PSU, these are higher efficency. Almost the best efficiency on the market! Although if you buy 2 or more with ...

Re: Eaton APR48-ES 2000w 96% efficiency power supply for sal
Hi Luke, The best it could do is 57.53(3.6 per cell in case of 16S life), even if I try to set higher voltage it would not go there. And I checked the CC mode at 23.8volts it charges my tesla module at 40amps (I can actually upper it a bit to like 42amps, but default setting is 40) All this at 220v ...

Eaton APR48-ES 2000w 96% efficiency power supply for sale
Hi Folks, I have couple PSU-s with the very high efficiency. Eaton APR48-ES If you compare it with famous APR48-3G it would generate twice less heat! So more silent operation and overal better efficiency and power Could be used with adaptto controllers for up to 2000w charging power at 220-240v inpu...

Re: MAXEBIKE Teleporter - new frames on the block
I know Elon Musk is pretty open about sharing his tech but the Tesla branding is a little cheeky  Is this designed for 2 people ? I reckon the long, chunky moto style seat lets down the look of the bike. You know the name "Tesla" does not belong to Elon Must, don`t you? :D The owner ...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread
Hey Doc, have you tried to upgrade the firmware of the old max-e with new one? If you tried it could possibly flashed a new firmware to lcd display and refused to update the controller itself. Las lcd firmware could be not completely workable with older max-e firmware. In other words, do you have on...

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners
A small clarification. This is NOT 3000wh battery. 2400max. Middle point is 74v. NOT 84v. And real capacity of element is 2.5ah, with 14p it give 35ah in ideal variant. More realistic data - 2.4ah and 33.6ah. Than you should also compare with ACTUAL stock battery data: 24s at 3.2v life would be mor...

Re: Samsung 25R/LG 18650HE2/ Sony VTC5 high power 18650 batt
Very interested. What thickness tabs were you able to weld? What calculations did you use to size the tabs? What vendor did you use for the DN10? Link? Cost? I have not tried more than 0.3mm thick, But manufacture tells it is able to weld up top 2.6mm (what i doubt) but up to 1mm thick I believe it...

Re: Battery assembly kit for 18650 cells - first prototype
The fuse adds 7.5mΩ per cell. Which is ~10% for LG D1 and most other cells. From my test it is clear that these fuses are not very practical for high power cells, such as Sony VTC5. For those cells a different fuse design would be needed. I do have it in mind and will offer solution later on. So no...

Re: Samsung 25R/LG 18650HE2/ Sony VTC5 high power 18650 batt
These welders are too low power - my friend tested one and he succeed to weld only 0.1 nickel strip max. So I decided to get more powerfull one  DN-10 means 10kw I believe. 35AC barker is barely usable at 240V AC, 25a hits immediately when you try. btw wires are 50mm2 and they become quite ...

Re: Battery assembly kit for 18650 cells - first prototype
really nice design! However I have couple questions: -have you tested the resistance of your interconnections? I mean how many milliOhms it adds to the internal resistance of the pack? -what is the material? thickness? The reason I`m asking is when you playing with cells like LG D1 or Samsung 30B, t...
