forget repairing the original controller. its fully potted, making it impossible to work on. what you need to do is get that controller out of there. there are three pairs of large wires(phase wires) and a five wire ribbon(halls wires) you need to get to them without damaging them so you can solder ...

dont give up yet. it sounds like a bad halls connection. maybe one of the pins backed out of the halls connector.

the seller claimed 60a contious, 80a burst(the probably exageratted). So I'm understanding that I have a bad phase wire connection that is caused by a battery not being to keep up with discharge rate. if the controller sees voltage on the throttle signal wire at power up it will give an error code. its a safety thing. if your throttle is faulty or has a weak spring in it and its not completely returning to 0v. the kelly wont turn on.

i'll probably attend, but at $20.00 per sq. ft.for vending space i doubt it will fill up.
