Re: Know Anything about 'Openresty?'

Or it could have been just a link on a page. I'm having some trouble with random openings. Here I might get a thread or forum open without clicking, you don't make them as popups, right? Increasingly screwy behavior since the Windows 10 went in.

Re: what motorcycle tire fits a 16" bike wheel?

Well, apparently there is a difference in fractional tire width and decimal tire width, so the decimal is 305mm but there's a fractional (16 x 1 3/4) that's 317mm and that's 12.5 inches, which is the tire on the Razor MX650 and MX500. I've been at least content with those tires. And the 24" fraction...

I'm curious about batteries. There's no room. Ueah, lipo would for more in the little space.

I'd like to hear from the OP, maybe Digs could come back too.

Re: Know Anything about 'Openresty?'

Actually i was wishing to assme flat tire would have it but couldn't be sure. The page opened itself. I looked at it and closed it , no idea where it came from. It did say it needed configuration. I read up on it being Linux and windows.

Know Anything about 'Openresty?'

I found this page on a browser when I came home, it said 'If you see this page Openresty installed. . . .'

So apparently it's a server program that runs in Linux. No idea about the ability to run on Windows. Any ideas how I figure out if it is hidden somewhere on my computer?

Haha good example of a sucky installation :D Good job CA has no industry or agriculture if the place has no land, power or extra-urban roads! While California is a net exporter of produce, the good ole' State Government has talked of doing away with it. If we don't grow the food, who does? As for t...

Yeah, I don't get the hoo-har about "oh, how pointless - the grid would never take it". It's a proof of concept. Fuel stations on main roads tend to be surrounded by plenty of cheap, empty land with no neighbours. I'm in California, the land of no cheap, empty land with no neighbors. Chargers are l...

One way or another, you pay for shipping, looks like a great price to be paying $150 shipping for. I have some of the c80100 and c8085 laying around, they're difficult to use. With that swingarm you can skip ripping around that engine you've already done much of the work on. These guys are in the wi...

People really want to discuss what rims you get, first. As for local pickup, if you have an indoor swapmeet around you, that's a great place to look at real live bike shops with great selections for the DIY crowd. Around me they have stuff I won't find in stock at the regular storefront.

Here we go again. Looks like a happier ending this time, though. Does this mean people get back their better health plans that cost less? Can Bill Von and his hoarde use this to finally troll rumme to death? Can Ellery Queen solve these mysteries and more? https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/14/politics/tex...

Well, come on. They're trying to get across the point about the 20 charging stations could power a small town. All this talk about the 'Smart Grid" they say they should be installing, never mind how bad we need it, will it be enough?

Wow, did the voice of reason REALLY get through to you?

Ah well, you should read this anyway. There's a short summary, or you can read the whole study.

These two are only so good in conjunction with each other. It never ceases to amaze me how people will refuse to ...

Re: What’s stopping Ford and GM from building compelling EV’s?

The order of thimgs is that they don't know how, currently. Learning how, all the R&D doesn't seem justified beyond the government trying to pass laws demanding they exist. Too much R&D will only encourage the government. It's really the same question as to why you don't put all your kids, grandkids...

Literally the Chinese we're suffering effects close to smoking marijuana. Not even. Even. Noone at your twelve step program was doing what the Chinese were doing. Opium is nothing compared to morphine, which is nothing compared to heroin, fentanyl, the things they talk about in twelve step programs...

Yes you can compare opiates and cannibis, the results are much the same. And opium is in fact mild compared to the opiates prescribed in the U.S., heroin, etc. Primarily smoked, it was mostly wasted as compared to effective methods of injesting. Literally the Chinese we're suffering effects close to...

So if the QS 260 is 1.5-5kw how is this one running at 60kw? I find miscellaneous suggestions of 70h peaking at 10kw.

Not even when the users create problems for others and just don't care? How would you handle the problem? To China, the solution to their opium problem was to kill them with kindness. The government left it a little enforced crime but imposed taxes as they were broke, they let people pretend opium w...

Are you sure you're not using up the Oxygen's hub potential? Stick I'd say maybe you notice it a bit better than a moped, so the new controller adds a bit more but nothing dramatic. Then I think you reach that point only a hub change will improve things. Had one, good choice to get rid of the contro...

Re: Volkswagen says last generation of combustion engines to be launched in 2026

It is what it is, and yet... I have investigated brewing alcohol as a fuel (to fill-in for gasoline), and also growing crops to make bio-diesel. and if given a choice, I am firmly in the camp of bio-diesel made from vegetable oil. VW may have "cheated" but nobody knows diesel like VW. I'd waive the...

Re: Squaring a Drill Press Table

What I used to do at the Boys Club in the shop as a kid was with a rod bent maybe 45 degrees, whatever fits, so I could both level the table and of course be sure that the drill was at 90 degrees from it. Basically you put one end in the drill and tighten, then you should be able to spin it and it t...
