Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

I think about making something I could sell to make the bikes faster. I could vacuum form a battery holders for the Zippies and it might be worth it. If I made up a wiring harness and the batteries and vacuum molded cover were held on the bike with velcro, it might be a neat little hop up for the Su...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

I just ordered 4 Zippy 2S 8ah batteries to parallel and series in to get some more volts with a stock setup. I am thinking that 2 batteries on each side of the battery pack in between the frame tubes. Maybe a plastic cover that holds 2 batteries on each side with the edges tucked inside the frame. B...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Yeah, thanks Allex. So I came up with a crazy idea. If I used a different controller that could handle 20S, would it hurt the stock pack if I put a 4S 16 amp Multistar in the line to the controller? Would it then be the same as a 20S pack? Maybe it would matter if it was on the positive line or on t...

Just this on the original test bike from Sur-ron #27. The production version was a 20% jump in power and the x-controller adds
to that.

I will have 6 controllers from ASI. I will have 3 for the stock battery pack if we can get more performance out if it. I will
have 3 programmed for hotter batteries.

Any beta testers?

I've been following the Redshift/Alta bike thing since the beginning. The problem is that they took 8 years and 30 million dollars to get off the ground and start selling bikes. That is quite a burden to pay back the investors and make a profit. They had the design by committee thing going which alw...
