Re: is this lifepo4 pack worth getting or risky

I bought a 48v 20ah battery from chong liao from all-lifepo4 on aliexpress so not the exact battery but from the same seller and possibly the same cells. It worked four or five times then it stopped. I took the pack apart and found that the 14th string of six 26650 cells was the problem. five of the...

Re: GNG 400W Pulsates

Gday Bob, one thing to check, Are you using the yellow box for your phase connections? My bike would pulse too and it took me ages to track down the problem of a dodgy connection in the yellow box. So I got rid of it and replaced with three standard type block connectors and since then no problems. ...

MWKeefer, I had the same issues you have been describing and am wondering if you are using the gng throttle, My problems went away after changing back to stock controller and stock throttle. I was running 12s 2p lipo.

Re: GNG, 1000W 48V BB-drive, $400

Motor seems to be holding out ok. Went for a 25k round trip into town and had no issues with the motor, no strange noises and no lock up. Think it might be a good idea to get a back up motor though, just incase. Has anyone ordered one from Mrtao yet?

Re: GNG, 1000W 48V BB-drive, $400

Thanks for the replies. I managed to get the back cover off the motor to check the halls, each one had a reading of 4.3v and there was no sign of any damage. Put it back together ensuring everything nice and tight and spun the motor up. It still felt a little warm after running for a few minutes but...

Re: GNG, 1000W 48V BB-drive, $400

I have run into a bit of trouble with my gng kit and wonder if anyone else has had the same problem. My setup is stock and running on 12s lipo. After installing on the bike i managed to get around 10 mins of riding before the motor stopped. If i moved the bike backwards and applied the throttle it w...

I had two of the eco6 chargers and they only lasted a couple of days. Bought an imax and all has been good so far.

Got one for me too. All components were packaged up good and only took two days to get here, freakishly fast. Great communication from the seller as well.

Re: Several Yuba Mundo Builds

Nice Kiwi, good to see the yuba tearing up the track. Hey there is a cromo-lite frame on TM at the moment, not quite a d-8 but could still be a pretty solid start for a FS build.

Re: HK Eco 6-10 Charger fail ..Again!

I have also got some issues with this charger, I bought two of them and used a meanwell clone to power one at a time charging two paralelled 6s 5000mah zippy lipo packs. When i attempted to charge at full power the charger got very hot, I was just about to stop it when it went pop and a little smoke...

Re: Keewee Cromotoze

The Keewee is electric, its taken a while to get the bike to this stage but it has been well worth it. I have just got back from my fist ride, love it. Here are a few pics of the build. xt60 wiring harness, made a small era here by wiring the low voltage buzzers to the battery packs so there is no w...

Kiwi would yours fit ok? Would be good to see some pics. I had thought about having some more steel welded on to double the width.

Keewee Cromotoze

For my next build I wanted something more suitable for off road use. Full suspension with room for batteries in the frame triangle. This is what i found and bought.
