Around $2.8 to 3.8 (with battery). Around 5.5 -7.5 year payback. How long do they live and what are the typical associated maintenance costs as they age. Given a 15 -20 year life cycle, what is the typical cost to produce a kwh for the average location- system. NO, you cannot generalise like that.....

In Cali, the best selling cars now are the Mod Y and Mod 3. @ 21812, 21506 units. Rav4 was third @15990. Anyone know the avg cost out in $/kwh for the average home roof top setup if you can afford the roof? Looks to be approx $2,800/kW. .....Without storage.(+$1,000/kWh) https://www.energysag...

You'll have to excuse HH. He's been huffing his own tailpipe for so that long he thinks the problem is the solution and the solution is the problem. In short, it is the result of dumb political commitments to “Net Zero” etc limiting the use of those fossil fuels, and hence forcing the closure of coal/gas generators without installing a workable alternatives ( only Wind & Solar). What is their thinking? That ‘Stra’ya's catastrophic wildfires...

Just a reality interuption here... We are dealing with these current high fuel prices, which are jacking up the costs of transport for sure.. I dropped my battery like an idiot, and one of the cells got bent. Is this dangerous? Should I replace the cell? That is not “bent” ,..it is severly damaged and consequently a major risk of failure and fire. Fix it ASAP !...and in the meantime, put that pack somewhere safely out of range of any fla...

Forum clean up ?
I have noticed that this “Motor Technology” page is heavily integrated with “Controller” threads.
Is there not a good case to set up a separate forum page for controllers, to simplify searching for motor and controller information ?

What year and model of Mazda is it? I have been looking at the 3, 4, 5 and 6, 3 is to small, prob 4cyl, Mazda 6 is 6cyl but more spacious for tall folks like myself. I have had an old Mazda 323 once, very small but I fit in it good enough. If you were ok in a 323, then you should be good even in a ...

Re: Adding more solar to my existing off grid setup
Most solar users “reschedule” their usage, ..washing , drying, water heating, cooking, etc etc, ..to occurr during peak solar periods ..i assume you are doing that ? But still. 8 kWh at best is a hard to meet, low usage level....so yes an upgrade to both panels and storage would seem logical for a c...

Toaster
Kettle
Microwave
Coffee maker
Dryer
Dishwasher
Fan heater
Pool cleaner
... that is just the ELECTRICAL appliances that have had to be replaced since January this year
In addition the washing machine failed, but was repairable , and a TV ( 2 yrs old) is acting up, but is being ignored !!

Karts are an aerodynamic brick !...anything above 30mph pumps power into the wind.
You could reduce that time, and increase top speed if you just tilted the seat back to a “laydown” position.

.note the wall thickness around the bottom bracket cannot be over 8mm (only an issue on some custom or carbon booms),... From that statement, it looks like you would need a customised excentric sleeve, ( maximum offset, ) to get the Tsdz2 spindle as close as possible ..3mm or less.. to the bb shell...
