I wish I would have saved my old computers and could show them to my wife………I could use a moment right now!

Love hearing a good story. Most forget the good and only relay the bad. I’d say this is a feather in the Frey/Ivy cap! Glad it worked out well for you.

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

I think it falls under usability. The battery is good as long as you can use if for what you need. If you want to take 30 mile trips but it only lasts 20…..time for a new one. If you want 6000 watts out of the motor and it falls on its face at 5000 watts……time to go shopping. What is you battery not...

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Hmm……that’s weird Theodore, not sure there would ever be a reason for holes in the casing unless your regularly riding/driving through water. I personally believe sealed up tight is right! Tom It is better to have a hole than not in most cases. Once moisture gets inside it is much harder to get rid...

I have a large collection of aged toe nails in a vacuum packed bag I’ve been wanting to cash in on…..it’s like a 40 year collection. I’m willing to give you a break and make a trade.

Let me know.

Cool video. I’m surprised you guys already lost all your leaves…….I’ve only seen literally a tree or two loose there’s here.

I’m not looking forward to the cold months here in Missouri.

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Duh, I don't know if I'll be using the Statorade any time soon. I was planning to install it after changing my rear tire, but the problem is the condensate holes. If I don't seal them up, it looks like the Statorade will leak out through them. What to do? I didn’t use a “hole” but I can’t imagine i...

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

TV,

You will gain speed if you pair it with a Nuc 24F but be prepared to suck your battery down to nuttin fast than you have ever done before. Mine V3 3.5T hits 65 mph easily on a 17” rim. One you get over 10 KW…..you’ll never look back…….but if your battery can handle it you’ll be hitting 20KW!

Re: Need advice QS 3000 hub motor build

Order a Nucular 24F now then. I have a 3.5T in a 17” rim with a Shinko 241 3.0 tire (Known for being a high traction tire and 3.5 inches wide!) and it has enough torque to break the tire loose on concrete with the front tire locked up!

It’s an amazing controller!

Re: Need advice QS 3000 hub motor build

When you mentioned “ speed limit here is 80kph the average traffic flow is 60kph not much highway driving at all” I thought you were using it for the street. Since I have one (high powered hub bike) I can tell you that hubs excell on smoother surfaces. They can be hard to set up when the wheel/tire ...

I personally would tell you to do the biggest/most powerful motor for heat absorption. I’d use this if I was going to do your bike with a hub…… https://www.qsmotor.com/product/17-inch-12kw-hub-motor/

Is it worth it to buy that magnetic fluid to put in your motor, and if you do, what else do you have to do to keep it in there? Yes it is Theodore, very much worth it. I’d recommend Hubsinks also. It turned my motor from a space heater to a cool running machine. For me and my riding style Hubsinks/...

Mineral deposits and humidity perhaps? Your guess is as good as mine. Maybe clean everything up with some 99% isopropyl or electrical contact cleaner, just to see if it makes a difference. Best bet is to swap it out with a Nucular 24f. What I have done ..... but when you decide to do it y...
