Re: oopsie. Ebike + Nephews are dangerous to uncles

A bit stiff and achy in mornings and after sitting for about an hour making me limp when i get up but at least i can get round reasonably quickly now. My shoulder is still causing pain. Some days i can barely get ...

3D printing nylon

Anyone else here 3d printing with nylon? I recently brought a 1Kg roll cheap ($35NZD) to have a play since I already make successfuly prints in both ABS and PLA and it seems to be working well. Being on sale I didn't get any choice of the colour but bright yellow is ok. Taking me a bit to get the pr...

Re: Damp CAv3

Yep, I definitely kept high pressure water away from the CAv3. problem was the bike was upside down to make it easier to clean the derailier area etc and I not really thinking ( had taken quite a few pain killers as my shoulder was really bad that day which doesn't help thinking) and in a hurry gave...

Re: Damp CAv3

I have looked at it closer and It appears that some of the wires in the back are really loose in the case and water could have easially got in there while cleaning the bike. Looks like I need to buy some natural cure silicon once I get it dried and make sure its working. On second thought threes ple...

Really Wet CAv3

After work today I opened up my Cycle Analyst and was greeted with a small puddle on the carpet as water run out. Not good considering at one point the power had been on with a bit of mist in the display, I hope it behaves correctly when I get it all dried out. So far there looks to be a few patches...

Re: oopsie. Ebike + Nephews are dangerous to uncles

I had a short ride today. Dont really know how far because of somehow getting moisture inside my CAv3. Probably 4 or 5km max. My shoulder seemed a bit better now that the bike has been adjusted. Im not sure i like the seat as high as they put it but it is definitely easier on my knee although gettin...

Damp CAv3

Oops, Looks like I somehow got some water into my CAv3 when I washed my bike the other day. Also the weather is quite cool today which is probably not helping with the condensation. This much moisture is way too much for something that controls the throttle feed to my controller so looks like I'm go...

I got on my bike again for the second time since my accident. There as been a run of wet cold weather that prevented me riding. Hi all, Im officially back to normal hours at work. My doctor signed off that on my latest medical certificate replacing the previous fit for 7 to 8 hours one. Hi all another busy day. Got up real early so I could go to the gym early and get my physio out the way, I was up early enough that I got to work by 7:30am and finished at 4pm. I worked up quite a sweat this morning. I kind of like doing the leg press machine because I clearly see improvements every...

Re: oopsie. Ebike + Nephews are dangerous to uncles

The physio progress check went well today. Almost at the targets set for 3 weeks time so looking good. Got some new excercises for my shoulder but those and the movments to check my shoulder range of motion stired up my shoulder so it ached quite a bit. I had to take more pain killers than usual but...

I guess im going to fine out first hand as i keep raking them. I know that different pain killers wo...

Re: troubleshooting intermittent sensored gear hub motor

I have had older controllers start acting up but still working sometimes. I traced it back the the main electrolytic capacitors in the controllers either failing or in one case completely exploded. This can happen and the controller can sort of function. The additional electrical noise can mess thin...
