The problem being the rear hub, the kit swaps out the cassette for two (bmx) sprockets.
The kit is probably designed to replace your 6?-speed freewheel with a pair of single-speed freewheels.
No cassettes or plain sprockets here.
You'll need to unscrew the freewheel body from the hub first.

This kind of motors do exist, but i'm afraid they're somewhat expensive.

Geared but clutchless, single-sided version is available too.

Re: Mini Cyclone Motor RPM

Aren't these motors rated 360 RPM no-load at 24V after reduction ? http://www.cyclone-tw.com/dc24.htm
Or 3600 RPM before reduction https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewt ... 3&start=31
- which means something around 150 RPM/V.
So 8500 - 9000 at 60V seems just right to me.

Re: Direct-Drive conversion of the new GNG/cycmotor X1-pro 3000w

The motor is claimed to produce torque over 4Nm?
If so,the CSK12 seems to have pretty hard times here, transferring the
torque up to ~25Nm - this is 2.7 times of it's nominal value, which is 9.3Nm.
OK, Stieber says Tmax=2xTn, but 18.6Nm is still not enough.

Or are my calculations wrong?

Clearly the wheel plug is different than the controller, but I believe I can detect the sensors and the phases. You'll need just one more cable. https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Waterproof-Motor-Cable-Motor-Wire-Motor-Connector/738588_32816702314.html?spm=2114.12010612.8148356.11.6385e7d1Y8...

The pole count for this one is very low, just 8 poles. I'm hassling suppliers at the moment for the RM.G360, if anybody has specific questions about them I can ask while I'm doing so. Any information about the rotor type would be interesting, lam thickness, IPM vs SPM etc. The low pole count might ...

They are coming back. You should see a choice of 20" front MX tires next year. Dunlop and Goodyear availaible already. Looking like MX racing is switching from 21 to 20 front.
Any info?
They were talking about this back in 2000 already.

Yup, I have this one, but the external shunt is pretty big so you need a spot for it. The one pictured is 100A shunt. Yes, it's large and heavy. A much smaller 50A one should be enough for everyday use, I think. https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?SearchText=50A+shunt<ype=wholesale&d=y&tc=af&ini...

It's crazy no one makes a throttle for drop bars (1" diameter). All are made for 7/8" (22mm) mountain bike bars. Most throttles need to be on the bar; using a set screw in an aluminum ring to fix to the bar. Unfortuneatly, the ring isn't thick enough to ream out to 1". Sure about that? Road bike ba...

What amberwolf said. It is possible, and is done many times to lock the clutch by welding, but it would be somewhat irreversible mod. I'd flip the wheel and find one of Disc Cogs from VeloSolo . The rear derailleur can be left in place and used as a chain tensioner/chainline adjuster. A front derail...

To overcome this issue and prevent the common problems often experienced, I've chosen to double the spoke count of both rim and hub. Doubling the number of spokes on existing wheel does not work. Tripleing does. Think about alternating left/right holes in the rim, also the valve hole location. And ...

The only metric freewheel threading still used is M30x1, which is used for 13t to 15t single freewheels. Oddly enough, there were (are?) some chinese companies making M35x1 freewheels. Matching hub motors and FW cranks do exist. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=42785&start=285...

Gauswheel is a cool gadget! I like your RolluSkate too.
Haven't you considered a DD hub motor?
A cheap generic "48V 1000W" front hub would be happy at 1500w on 20" wheel.
Also much cleaner looking.
