Re: PowerVelocity controller review
Anyone having trouble with the current measurements in the app? My shunt was labeled 1.16 mohm, but I'm reading peak battery current of 146A. When I'm at 55% charge or less and I hit the throttle, the battery bms low voltage cutoff triggers. I do have a 16s7p 30q pack, but I don't think those numbe...

Re: Vector Light Commuter Build
Yep, I ran into the same problem. I've gone with a 40t chain ring and I would say it is probably the largest that will fit in the frame.
Combine that with a (14-17-20T) 3 Speed Freewheel and it's ok to pedal up to 40kph.

Re: Vector Light Commuter Build
Is there an update on this build?
Vector's website claim the seatpost is 30.6mm, but you have a 31.6mm. Did you have trouble fitting it?

Re: bluetooth BMS?
"Minew"! Sounds like your hitting on a different device, my app lists a few local Bluetooth devices when I start it up. It's definitely the BMS. It disappears when I disconnect the power. Thanks for the suggestions, . I'll keep you updated when the seller finally gets back to me. I hate C...

Re: bluetooth BMS?
I was thinking about your BT connectivity situation... 1. In android settings is a place to check for available BT connections. In there the BMS should be listed as "xiaoxiang BMS" or something like that. You can't connect to is from here, just see that it is advertising it's existence. 2...

Re: bluetooth BMS?
Regarding the Bluetooth- On initial powering up of my BMS, the Bluetooth module had a solid blue light, neither my phone or tablet would pick up the device. After much messing around the solution was to unplug the balance cable, disconnect the Bluetooth module, reconnect the balance cable and THEN ...

Re: bluetooth BMS?
Just replace the little BT board on the back plane. If it costs you $10, I'll be surprised. I don't need to, they just plug in on my board. I only mentioned it since someone mentioned not being able to connect via Bluetooth. I was offering the possibility of a faulty BT module as a possible explana...

Re: MXUS copper wire coating damaged
Thanks guys. I've edited the original post to amend the incorrect term.
The laminations are not damaged, it's the coating on the copper wire that is damaged. I'll put a small dab of super glue over it like major suggested.

MXUS copper wire coating damaged
I opened my MXUS v3 and noticed a small scrape on the varnish of the copper wire. I tested the continuity with my multimeter and it shows a short to my phase wires. I'm not sure how it happened, it doesn't seem raised enough to be touching the side plate. Is this a major problem or will this cause a...

I've got the same frame and motor. My frame should be arriving next week. Hey Shorza, if you switch the pinching plates to the inside is there any threads sticking out? Re: Vector e-bike Frame 599$ /Adaptto/Parts WORLDWIDE
Shorza just so you know the 135mm version barely fits the 28-30mm stamped steel DD hub motors they make in it with 1 small washer on each inner side, it is steel so some people would just bend it for 150mm, but I wouldn't be up for the task What motor are you using? I agree that fat bike swingarm i...
