WOW! thanks I think it is the problem and why the motor was drawing to much amps for such low speeds!

let us know how you did the initial set up; did you test all 36 hall combinations or just went with the first one that worked did you calibrate your CA to your controller or just plug it in could a brake be rubbing somewhere is the tire rubbing on the frame those are the things i'd look4 for first....

Anderson connector SB50 questions

I ordered SB50 connectors.... in fact it was the housing only... she asked me what connector in that housing

which one should I order either a #6, #8 or #10/12. I would like it to run easily with my 84v10ah battery even if I upgrade

I need to unplug controller to test it out even if battery is not hooked on? I took the hubmotor apart and the wiring looks fine and the 3 small fets (or wtv what you call them) seems to be ok the copper windings is very dark at some places and the paper under the fets has melted... there is fibergl...

the fire ball problem is solved I just shortcutted the battery wires and gladly everything is fixed

time to take appart the motor :?

hey karma I finally drove my ebike with my eback pack!!! I dont know about you but I barely feel the weight with my laptop backpack! plus it was keeping me warm since its getting really cold here! I will send it to a professional tailoring so they can add elastic bands to keep every battery secured ...

I think I toasted my hubmotor

this was my 1st run and I think I burned my motorwheel.... It was cool to the touch outside (after 5 minutes) after that 5th minute I was pulling so much amps to move very slow so I stoped... and it seems like its too late... looks like its seized it is very hard to pedal now... and when I touch it ...

Finaly drove my ebike on my street

its really nice!

but I think I broke it

the wheel is really really stiff now.... What could it be? it also has a grinding noise

I thought I would be going faster too... 84v pushing 3100-4000watts and only going 40km/h.....

feedback would be appreciated
