Nice project!
cut that will direct air onto the center of the coils, in either direction of rotation
Do you think they will work that way? Maybe more like centrifugal fan, despite the scoops?

Re: Yet another 18650 battery build.

With BMS you don't know what is going on until your pack is not working. I don't trust BMS boards made in China and I'm definitely not paranoid if comes to Li-ion batteries. Except it is BT BMS that has a big display and BT connection to your Android to show you more then your testers will ever show.

Re: LiFePo4 starter battery BMS with only 2 leads?

You might be able to just add some shunt resistor across the existing ones to increase the trip point. As long as you don't crank for too long, it shouldn't overheat. Some circuits come with a thermostatic switch to kill output if it overheats. Yea, that is nice suggestion I will use on my next bat...

Re: LiFePo4 starter battery BMS with only 2 leads?

P.S. Having a BMS did already saved the battery one time as I forgot to switch off the car after doing some screwing around, then after 3 days I just got a discharged and not dead battery, happy to not have listened to those "you do not need BMS screamers" :D

Re: LiFePo4 starter battery BMS with only 2 leads?

I got this BMS: https://www.banggood.com/4S-100A-12V-LiFePo4-18650-Battery-Cell-BMS-Protection-Board-Balance-With-Cable-p-1217848.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN But it requires separate lead for charge and for drain. My scooter only has positive and negative, so I don't think I can use the BMS....

Re: Build your own charger

I have similar DC-DC converter and i have plan to make 24v 5-6A charger. Do you recommend mosfet replacing or i can leave default ones because my charger will use only 150-200W ? You do not need any modification on those converters in this case. I personally would not go over 75% of rated specs for...

Re: Fuse-wire for individual cells, DIY Tesla style

I do have a close contact who is has a skilled hand and does circuit board repair. I will probably show it to him and see what he thinks. I DO NOT have the skill to attempt it! Should all rescue attempts fail, you could disconnect 1 cell from every series in this module (I suppose those modules are...

https://electricmotorcycle.com/alta-motors/ I don't know what year, here's a pic from the Alta forum https://endless-sphere.com/forums/download/file.php?id=242017 That solution is kind of weird. They end with 2 fuses on each cell, unnecessary raising resistance of the pack. Looks like bad engineeri...

Nice Setup. Thanks. It is just such a nice upgrade, after annoying fan action of previous set-up. Can charge any time, anywhere now. As long as can still get 15A out of it and not cost too much. You can look at HLG-600H. They are not super cheap but I have a pile of broken standard CCCV chargers th...

No one has any doubt that your motor spins and can propulse some kind of vehicle. Unfortunately, graph-vice "Duyunov", in explanation of technology I have seen, is referring to fixed frequency, voltage curves and advantages of "Slavyanka" in this case, where in propulsion paradigm asynchronous motor...

No. I specified. Under the link, the old data, some of them on the electric motor of a different power. Correct data Rated power 3 kW Maximum in peak to 20 seconds 9,4 kW Max. Peak moment at 350A - 74Nm Voltage 72V (60-85V recommended) Weight 10.5 kg Ok. So how is DA-90S motor better than d7500 BLD...

Yes. I clarify now - this is the data of a serial or test electric motor. I will write later. Rated power 3kW Power in peak about 9kW Voltage 72V Let me try to organize what you said. 1. Original series produced motor you took as base is 3kW rated, 9kW peak and works on 72V. 2. Slavyanka mod of for...

My concern is the ER/EI of solar PV in Germany performing at 4:1. Other studies have it no higher than 7 worldwide. If the best we can do for the creation of energy is an ER/EI of 4 (even 7) That is what wiki says, backed by several linked studies: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_returned_on_e...

It is even worse, there are same type Bms's that only work with its own tier of software. Open source would be so nice, I already miss some settings.
