Re: Speedict neptune lite
So I'll be applying 53.6v at 2 amps to the charge leads? you should use 54.6v CC/CV charger because 13s * 4.2v = 54.6v, if your charger output 53.6v it's mean 53.6v / 13 cell = 4.12v fully charge to each cell, whether your charger is CC/CV type or not, cell will be charged up to ~4.1v, but it won't...

Re: Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?
Too late, I have already spent way too much time on this, and I certainly won't disassemble my customers bike again. My plan was to sell bikes with speedicts but the errors and lack of support have made me search for another solution, which I found a long time ago already. Oh sorry, my point is as ...

yes, now not fixed to 13 cells, just downloaded the user guide the multi-cell support via different wiring scheme.

Hello Speedict I would like to buy your new product. Have few questions 1. When you starting to ship? 2. I dont see energy consumption per km also no estimated range. How come? I think this is the most usefull info for mist users. Will you plan to implement also these function? (Is it possible to a...

Re: Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?
Any chance of answering these questions- Is there an operating manual? What is the maximum through current? and the maximum cell balancing current? are the cell voltages programmable, eg like 3.60V instead of 3.65V for Lifepo4 ? I don't think danny has time to answer here, as per their information ...

Re: Are there any good alternatives to the CA v3?
Looking through the main Speedict thread, there are a couple things that concern me that maybe you could address. First, it sounds like the data download time is really slow, like 20 minutes. Has this been improved? Also, there were some problems with inrush current damaging the device; any comment...

Re: Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?
Thanks for your answer, Rosich. I will measure the throttle signal soon , hoping it's 5 Volt. But you never know, it's a very old (>20years?) construction, so perhaps not a throttle with a hall element. I think the twistgrip is of the wire-wound resistor type, I am not sure. Nowadays hall sensors a...

Re: Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?
Question about the Speedict Mercury. I have a (chopper) bike with a 36 V- 350 Watt brushed DC motor (Angel brand). Sadly these bike is not road legal in the Netherlands, it has no PAS sensor, only a throttle (variable resistor twist grip). The controller has a main current input and also the 3 wire...
