Read the specs on the 1500w!
48V x 26A = 1248w x 90% = 1123 max possible watt output.
Starter motor is designed for brief use, a few seconds only. Don't expect it to survive very long!

36V battery?
Actual battery voltage?
Looks-sounds like 48V controller and display.

The bike shop did not do that great of a job either with truing the wheel after lacing it to a new rim. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5U62KQKc1EM&feature=youtu.be Confirm that tire is properly seated ? Also the front wheel with the 89 tooth sprocket is not trued right either and I paid them t...

Re: Charging two batteries off a single charger OK?
Thanks for the clarifications. I will be current limiting to 4A (2A per pack). The max voltage differential between the packs is unlikely to exceed 20V. So will go with Schottky diodes that can handle 40W and increase the charger voltage to account for the (~0.3V) drop across the diode. :bigthumb: ...

Re: Charging two batteries off a single charger OK?
Possibility is to place directional diodes to each charge connection. You want to directionally isolate batteries from each other. Full charge amperage would flow to lowest voltage battery till nearing equal voltage, then should gradually transition to charging both batteries with equal voltage and ...

Posted, with link, breakout cable needs no cutting, no splicing ... proper cable to match your controller! Goes from the 8pin to: 5pin display; 3pin throttle; 3pin brake; 3pin brake. I've already told you ~5 times that this cable is exactly what you need! Are you too self-righteous in your own despa...

Re: new eZip motor
Yeah, you need the control LED display and the breakout cable I posted. If you meter the pinout you should be able to cut and splice future displays to controllers. There has to be a control module which just plugs in the controller. I doubt they make a controller that requires cutting and splicing...

Yea. I need to find a really small compact vehicle as close to 2,000 pounds as possible. I know back in the 80s Mitsubishi made a Plymouth Arrow. Unibody construction, quickly rusted apart! I'm shopping for a Triumph or MG Midget. Ideal would be a VW Bug and aftermarket body ala Bradley ... https:/...
