Interesting perpetual motion machine hoax!
I say "interesting" because it stimulates the idea of creating electricity from sound.
Expressway signs powered by traffic noise?
Screaming babies powering baby monitors or mobiles?
Curses, horns etc. powering slow ebikes.

Cleaning up the garden, 4 nights of frost finished off most everything. Pulled up dead plants and giving the soil a turn, planted a last seeding of radishes. Transplanted (into high tunnel) Hot Peppers, Basil and Lettuce doing great. Plan on clearing a couple more beds of the depleted Tomato plants ...

Most all the outside tomato plants are dying, will likely make a final harvest then pull up a majority of the withered plants. Exception are some Cherry Tomato plants and a few with green tomatoes and some healthy green leaves. In stark contrast, inside the high tunnel, there is still a deep green h...

Releasing BF01 (butterfly female #1) today. She's revving up her wings since before daybreak. Just waiting for a little sunshine and warmth. Will release into the Family Gardens, which are fairly well overgrown with flowers. She did take a drink of 25% sugar/water. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/...

The thing about a front hub motor is throttle at take off. The Currie currently has a 750 watt gear reduction motor. It is a 36V motor. It is a rear chain drive. I have the magic light touch with my right thumb so switch the throttle so the rear is on left for the chain drive. Thumb throttle is OK ...

Re: new eZip motor

Having been mentioned, multiple times, I will state that a motors watt rating is the power (watt) output, at specified voltage. While technically the 48v 35a controller could be rated as a 1500w (48v x 35a = 1680w/90% efficiency = 1512w) 1500w output might only be attainable in the 55% efficiency pa...

Re: new eZip motor

Another thing you need to notice(?) is that "quick release" wheels run a steel skewer through the center of the hub motor.
Sooo ... you will have to drill a hole through 3/4 of the axle, without hitting the wiring, then squeezing the skewer through without damaging anything.

Re: new eZip motor

Actually ... a motors watt rating is the motors watt output at the rated volts and rpm. Typically it will use (Input) 200%+ watts at full throttle till nearing rated rpm. Input (electrical) watts is divided into output (mechanical) watts and output (thermal) watts. Best power output might require 60...
