Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hi all, I am having some issues installing my Tongsheng TSDZ2 on a Whyte Whitechapel frame. The motor fits in the bottom bracket, but the bicycle frame has a bulge that is preventing the motor from sliding through fully. Have any of you folks any tips at all? I'm hoping this is solvable :-( In you ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I see there’s now a standard TSDZ2 available that has Bluetooth connectivity. A few Europe s sellers on eBay have it. An user told me that TSDZ2 Bluetooth version is in fact the regular TSDZ2 + VLCD7 display that has Bluetooth inside: http://www.tsbicycle.net/index.php/content/150 Since VLCD7 is no...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hi all, I'm trying to remove my tsdz2 helical main gear, following the Jbalatutube youtube video. Unfortunately, after removing the 2 circlips and housing, I cannot get the main gear off. Am mystified. See image below. The bolts are inserted to assist pulling out the gear but no joy. Any suggestion...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Has anybody been experimenting with turn signals/blinkers? I would like to add some to my tsdz2 because I am often riding at night on steep roads with lots of traffic and I don‘t like to let go the handlebar in this situation to signal a turn. I think adding electric turn signals would be a bit of ...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

I have just flashed 850C_v0.4.2-bootloader.bin with home made bootloader box successfully and display turns on however the vertical screen flip is still present. Also seems that I cannot flash it anymore as the display is not reacting to flashing signals from USBUART module as before. Is there a ch...

has the startup boost funcionality been removed from 0.20? I don't see it in the 0.20 configuration manual on the wiki Buba removed that feature from 0.20.0 but I plan to implement it again on 0.21.0. In fact, I created an issue so I will not forget this: https://github.com/OpenSource-EBike-firmwar...

Nice so it LVC is reached then power keeps dropping to ensure LVC is not violated again ? I assume that eventually the power cannot be dropped any more and the motor will turn off ? You guys should try and see. Just adjust LVC on display to a value near your battery current voltage. Also note that ...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Perhaps I wasn't clear in my post. I am very happy with the current OSF firmware v.0.20beta and with the settings. I noted a drop in peak power when the battery starts to be around 25% (this is the first time I discharged the battery that much during a trip) and I read in the wiki this limit is som...
