Re: TSDZ2 Torque Sensor failure ???

Hi there, I guess I'm facing the same problem.. Did anyone figure out yet, what the exact problem is? Torque sensor? Cadence sensor? Thanks in advance! Install our OpenSource firmware and then you will see on the display the output values of every sensor, like even the motor hall sensors -- then yo...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Has anyone here attached a temperature sensor using JB Weld? Did you simply glue the surfaces using that, or encase the whole sensor in it? Or for anyone else, have you found an adhesive that doesn't involve encasing the entire sensor? Last time I used a plastic zip tie, like others shared before. ...

Re: TSDZ2 Throttle + Temp Rollback Possibility?

Yes, would like to integrate the Smart Bluetooth BMS with our OpenSource firmware for TSDZ2 mid drive motor. It would be like this: - the Bluetooth display SW102 running our OpenSource firmware already works with TSDZ2 running also our OpenSource firmware - the SW102 would communicate with the BMS b...

@skestans: I didn't know you can update the ST link dongles. I will check on that. Funny that the stm8flash tools only work for you. That for me means it is not the hardware that is failing. This actually triggered me that maybe my laptop is the trouble maker. I only have a macbook to try next. I h...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I've managed to switch the controller in my motor since my other one wasn't working but now the motor feels different. It isn't providing as much acceleration as before. Typically I can get by on assist level 2 but now I find myself putting it in assist 3 or 4 and then turning it down to 2 as I get...

Re: Bafang SW102 Bluetooth LCD - OpenSource firmware and mobile app

Not sure how communication protocol between tsdz2 and sw102 works, but can we just forward what ever sw102 is getting from tsdz2 over bluetooth to mobile? Yes, I would start to replicate the same that is already working between display <-> motor controller. But then we will need to implement the ch...

I've explored a bit possibility of developing such app but in Golang since I'm not familiar with android java development.
I think you should go ahead. Maybe you have a better motivation than my wife. I personally do not expect to use the app myself so no big motivation for me.

Re: Bafang SW102 Bluetooth LCD - OpenSource firmware and mobile app

Would it be possible to use something like ESP32 to send and receive signals and a cell phone app for display and controls? I remember seeing a video of someone putting a bluetooth module onto the motor itself, and then using a phone app as the TSDZ2 display. Would be great if that guy jumps in and...

Re: I want the TSDZ2 52v with firmware by casainho, but don't know where to begin

Hi all, I am excited to find a motor kit that has an open source firmware that has some community following. I've been on the fence for awhile but this convinced me to go ahead. I like DIY and electronics, but don't have as much bicycle building experience. I'd like to get this kit, I've seen the o...

Can you display temperature on the SW102 display with the OSF?
I join the question.
Yes, use the same buttons as on 850C to select which variable to show on the numeric fields - see the wiki.

KT-LCD3 upgrade? I am confused on what I need to upgrade from a KT-LCD3 to 850C. First does anyone know the difference between P850C and the 850C? Can you "see the 850C in the sun? I don’t think i will need more than 350 watts so i might cope without temperature sensor :D The noisy thing worries me a bit though. It is noisier than an hub motor but as silent as Lingbei. The ones I have here are definitely way way louder than the lingbei, even with regrease. The lingbei is real...

Any reason why not using a brass gear ? Do you prefere blue gear for lower noise only?

Here a feedback for the recent released firmware for SW102:

Although an issue was found that makes the firmware not saving anything, like the configurations or even the previous assist level. This is my focus right now.

Or publish them and give an explanation of how and why we should set them at what they should be at to be at the most efficient l...

Not sure if this the correct thread to discuss this, but isn't it a bit difficult to keep track of which display firmware version works with tsdz2 firmware version? Wouldn't it make more sense to use semantic versioning where major and minor versions are the same across the firmwares if they are co...
