Re: 48v 11ah nos boxes of 12 cells

Do you have any more information about the cells? I'm not familiar with the cell type, sorry.

So are you selling these as 12 cells for $150 + $50 CONUS shipping?

And what material are the tabs made of?

Thanks!

Re: 21kWh / 251 EIG cells in ~3kWh banks

Was shipping always an option? I may be misremembering this.

Mrmagics did you have a way of shipping a bank to the east coast? And do you know roughly how much that costs? For all [unlikely] or 1-3 banks [more realistic.]?

Re: Battery Bloc Battery up to 72v - $400

Hi I'm not totally clear what your capacity is. Is this a 52V, i.e, 14S battery pack with 17.5Ah? If I'm not mistaken that is 14*5 = 70 cells. But you said 100 cells, so maybe I am confused. Thanks! Also, can you list what the current capacity is on this battery bloc config? It's interesting, looks ...

Re: CUSTOM frame/E-tek motor/Controller

It's still all beautiful and still a steal, but I still can't get myself to get into another large project I shouldn't have :). Maybe update your first page to list the newest price. You are by no means obligated to sell at the price you originally suggested, we all agree it's lame to back out, but ...

Re: 21kWh / 251 EIG cells in ~3kWh banks

That is...so appealing....I am tired of the "connection problem" I have with various DIY packs :).

If I can get a better sense of the remaining lifespan and previous condition of these cells I think I would be interested in a decent number. :) Would take a couple days to confirm all information.

Re: 21kWh / 251 EIG cells in ~3kWh banks

Hi MrMagic! Your system looks really nice :O. I have been tempted to switch my Honda Insight over to A123 packs as the 50s Headway pack is dying and I don't feel super comfortable with most other lithium chemistries...this is a little interesting though. Is 35 cells the "base unit" of what is a feas...

Re: A123 Hymotion

I feel like it would be helpful to know more about the battery condition. I minimal would probably be a voltage reading of the cells, to see if any are overdischarged too far. Even if the cell recovers, if the BMS gets disabled or something by that then it is a much worse item than if the BMS still ...

After the repair, is your no-load current closer to what you expect? I seem to remember you said the running current was higher than expected.

Also, can you confirm what size wheel it is? I assume 26" since you did not say otherwise.

Re: CHEAP ORYGINAL CELLS 18650 and welded packs for 36V

So, uhh, keep reading about 18650 cells, if you do want to make your own pack. If you feel they are more dangerous than lipo you might want to keep reading. I am not making my own pack again because once done I realized it was a PITA of work (especially starting from a base of used laptop cells and ...

Re: CHEAP ORYGINAL CELLS 18650 and welded packs for 36V

Here is a possibly more thorough answer: A properly welded tab will have meaningful metallurgic bonds to the metal on the 18650 housing. This means you cannot remove them without damaging the bottom surface, at which point you can risk a puncture that lights the pack on fire (usually not so fast as ...

That's really great!

Too bad in EU. I think after shipping complexities and cost to U.S, not as much worth it. But still almost worth it (too bad just got a couple batteries and such for friends already recently.)

I think all that is meant, is whether we need to buy anything extra to get the mobile device programming enabled, or if it is default with the controllers you are selling. Also, what sort of app we would need. I was not questioning the development work of the bluetooth capability, just whether it wo...
