Re: Ultimate BBSHD Grin Phase Runner FOC 3000W

Does gearsensor (deraileur version) and hydraulic brake sensors works with phaserunner?

Do you plan to embedded phaserunner inside the BBSHD?

Hi Allex, nice to hear about a beefedup Max-e.
Does adaptto plan to release a controller with more fets? like 24 or 36?

Re: QS MOTOR,0.5-16kW Electric In-Wheel Hub Motors Manufactu

I've been looking for a good lacing solution for my own motor of similar size... I would try 12ga Titanium spokes, long brass nipples with rim washers. Ti flexes much better than steel. Most road cyclists abandoned them because when they are long, Ti spokes don't make a wheel stiff enough for their...

Re: QS MOTOR,0.5-16kW Electric In-Wheel Hub Motors Manufactu

72 spokes should have a meaningfully improved shot at survival. Meaningfully survival improvement coming from you means alot.   as mentioned, if you give tension to those 72 large spokes, the RING shaped spoke flange could rip to pieces!! Will be using 11g spokes instead...

Re: QS MOTOR,0.5-16kW Electric In-Wheel Hub Motors Manufactu

@gensem I believe you would have better success with a custom drilled rim. 9 groups of 4 with proper angle for single cross, making a 36 spoke job better than 72 radial, yet lighter. Another fancy solution is to drill 72, use 9 groups of 4 for single cross and 9 groups of 4 radial. You could use th...

Not even the 18'' rim huh Tough luck there , if your custom rim idea doesn't work , im thinking a custom strip [ pos 3mm alloy if you have the clearance inside a standard rim ], then drill your required/ custom spoke angle through the existing holes through your new strip and counter sink fr...

Re: QS MOTOR,0.5-16kW Electric In-Wheel Hub Motors Manufactu

Short of using a solid wheel, it looks like there's no other option but to use radial lacing for the 273 inside almost any rim. The angles are just too extreme. Seems to be working for some. Good luck! I wonder if a 19" wheel would work for 1 cross? I need to check the dimensions and see what the a...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

So I've read and read....more confused now then ever. On a Max E and 3.5T QS 205 running 20s and planning on running lots of power through it which breaker should I use? A single 63, two 63 in parrallel, two different brands of 63's in series or different size by it self? So confused when I should ...

Small update... 4 Spoke nipples with washers went thru the rim when I doing one my first riding tests (50-60kmh) due to extreme lacing angle. I ll try to lace a 18" rim next week to see if the angle gets any better (was using a 17" rim).

I finally got my QS273 4kw 16.8kv running. Im using a MAX-e but its cutting power like crazy. Anything over 200a phase or PWR timing over +0.51 gets in protected mode even at low speed partial throttle.
